Cousin's Wedding
Due to no fault of his own, David was transformed into a young woman. Only his Mom knew of the transformation. As far as everyone else is concerned, David has always been a girl. David has been resisting a feminine lifestyle, but his cousin's Sarah's wedding is coming up. David: Mom, I really don't want to wear a dress to Sarah's wedding. Mom: Oh, sweetie, why not? It's a special occasion, and wearing a dress would be fitting for the event. David: Mom, I can't wear a dress. Mom: You'll look really pretty in a dress. We don't know how long you will be a woman. You might as well get used to it. David: I know, but I just feel uncomfortable in dresses. I'd rather wear something else, like dress pants and a nice blouse. Mom: I understand that you might not feel comfortable in dresses, but weddings are typically formal events, and it's customary to wear dresses on such occasions. Besides you are seated at Sarah's table. You'll stand out like a sore thumb. All the other girls will be wearing dresses, David: I'm not really a girl. Mom: Nobody knows that. David: Can't I just wear something that makes me feel comfortable and confident? I promise I'll still look nice. Mom: I hear you, but it's important to respect the dress code of the event and dress appropriately. Plus, you'll look absolutely stunning in a dress, I'm sure of it. It'll also be easier for you to act like a girl, went you dress like a girl. David: How can I forget? Boys don't wear bras." Mom: You don't have any choice about that. Your breasts are bigger than mine. They'll look good in a dress. David: I appreciate your opinion, Mom, but I really don't want to wear a dress. Can we find a compromise? Mom: Okay, let's see if we can find a middle ground. How about we look for a dress that's not too frilly or fancy? Something simple and elegant that you feel comfortable in. David: Yeah, I think I could be okay with that. As long as it's not too over-the-top. Mom: Great! I'm glad we could find a solution that works for both of us. Let's go shopping together and find the perfect dress that you'll be comfortable. David: Thanks, Mom. I really appreciate you understanding. Mom: That's okay, we'll take it one step at a time. Like I said, how about we start by looking for something simple and not too fancy?
