Tyler Thomas entered Mrs. Warner's office. he had just been suspended for fighting and would have to wait in the office until his parents came to collect him. This wasn't the first time that Tyler had been to Mrs. Warner's office. Nor was this the first time he was suspended for fighting.
"Please take a seat," Miriam offered.
"OK."
"I wanted to talk to you."
"I've heard it all before."
"But it is getting serious now. You're getting older."
"Aren't everyone?"
"Did you know the things you do now can affect you for the rest of your life?"
"I'm not worried," Tyler wasn't thinking ahead at all.
"You should. You could start things in motion that you can't fix. By the time you do, it'll be too late."
