Moving On Preface Gary was walking through the mall. He wasn't looking for anything in particular. He was simply bored and wanted something to do. Maybe go to a music store or a bookstore. All the things he could skip with apps on his phone. Still, it felt nice to old-school it and have the physical pages in his hand or look through CDs listed by the artist. Gary heard screaming. For a moment he was worried about a random shooting, but it wasn't that. He didn't hear any gunfire. Gary was undecided about what to do? Should he go toward the screaming and investigate or see if he could lend a hand? Should he run the opposite way? Should he find a spot to hide? He looked around for help about what to do. Gary locked eyes with a stranger. She was a middle-aged woman. She had heard the screaming too. Everyone had. Gary: "Should we go check it out?" Gary didn't know this woman, but he used the pronoun 'we'. He subconsciously wanted to be in a group. Even if it was a group of only two. Woman: "I think we should. It might be someone in trouble." (They hurry toward the direction of the screams and find a crowd gathered around a woman who seems distressed.) Person in the crowd: "What's wrong?" The woman was screaming, but she wasn't making sense. Random Person: "Should we call the police?" Another Random Person: "The police have already been called." During the commotion, Gary felt weird. He didn't know that the Trait Swapper was about. It was making random changes with himself and the other mall patrons. When he realized what was happening, he backed away. It was too late though, in the end, both mental and physical swaps had occurred. Although his height and weight hadn't changed, instead of being a 5'10 slightly stocky man, he had become a 5'10 plus-size woman. His genitals, hips, and chest had become decidedly feminine. The most important changes had been mental. He felt like a woman whose biological clock was running way too fast. The most important thing to him was to find a man, get married, and have many children. He knew he was a man. But this was how he felt. It had become the most important thing to him. Something he couldn't ignore. There were other swaps, changes in his profession, his lactose intolerance had disappeared, and he wasn't a vegetarian anymore. His brown curly hair became brown straight hair. None of these other changes affected him as the desire to settle down, start a family, and give birth to several children.
