Strange Feelings ***Ding Dong*** "Nancy, I'm so glad you are here!" Tyler stepped out of the doorway allowing Nancy to enter the apartment. "I came as soon as I could. What's the problem?" "Something is wrong. "What is wrong?" "That's it. I don't know what. But I know something is not right. It's just a feeling, it's like when you leave your house, and you are sure that you left the gas on on the stove. You have to go back to make sure that it's turned off. Most of the time it OK, but you feel strange regardless." "What do you think is the matter?" "I don't know. But I know something isn't as it should be. I have been looking around all day, but the feeling has persisted." "I see." "Do I look alright to you?" "Well, you aren't dressed." "I know, I was about to take a shower. If I don't hurry, I'll be late for my date." "Date?" "With Richard." Nancy nodded her head with approval. "That doesn't matter. You're my sister. You know me better than anyone. Does anything seem off to you?" "I don't know where to look." "Let's start with me. Do I seem different?" Nancy looked Tyler up and down. What she saw seemed perfectly fine. Tyler was wearing a pale blush-colored lace-trim satin robe. It had sheer scalloped lace tracing the V-neck and three-quarter-length sleeves. It was a short skirt with the hem at the mid-thigh. The waist was cinched with a detachable belt tied into a pretty bow. "Well, you're certainly not dressed for a date." "Oh, stop that. You know what I mean. Do I seem different to you?" "No." "Let me turn around." "You look fine from every angle." "I'm going to go take a shower. Look over the apartment. Make sure everything is how it should be. Something is wrong. I just know it. Maybe someone has come in here and done something. It's wrong, I can feel it." "OK, I'll look while you are taking your shower." Nancy looked around. She didn't know where to start. She first went to the window and the balcony. The translucent dark brown curtains contrasted nicely with the eggshell-painted walls. The door of the balcony was closed and locked. The furniture outside, a couple of deck chairs, and a weathered table looked fine. The grey couch looked fine, with its throw pillows on the edges. In front of the couch, an onyx coffee table contrasted nicely, especially with a decorative bowl on top. Across from the couch, a fifty-inch TV was mounted on the wall. A glass-top table with four chairs that was used for entertaining looked as they should. On the wall on the opposite side of the room, paintings of dancers and floral scenes in impressionist styles hung over glass end tables decorated with candles and other knick-knacks. The hardwood floors had area rugs placed in strategic locations. The overall design was very feminine. Not finding anything amiss in the living room, Nancy inspected Tyler's kitchen next. From within the kitchen, Nancy heard the sound of the shower increase in volume. She knew that the door to the bathroom must have opened. "Nancy, can you come here!" Tyler called out. "Sure thing." Nancy saw Tyler wet and naked in the doorway of the bathroom. This didn't shock her; she had seen Tyler naked thousands of times before. They were siblings. Most of Tyler's body was covered in what Nancy knew was depilatory cream. Tyler's legs, chest, arms, and underarms were all covered in the cream. The squeeze bottle of depilatory was in Tyler's hand. Only the pubic hair on his crotch wasn't covered. That was neatly shaven into a heart shape. "What's up?" "I don't know how I let it go so long, but can you spread this over my back? I can't reach there." "Sure thing. Turn around."
