The Home "You showed up? I didn't think you had the guts," Keith said with menace in his voice. The two boys met on neutral ground. Keith was much taller and stronger than the nerdy Douglas. Keith the typical bully walked right up to Douglas's face, looking down trying to intimidate him. Inspiring intimidation was as much of Keith's personality as his size and attitude. "I'm not scared of you." "You should be." Douglas shook his head. "You know what I want." "You aren't going to get it. Not now! Not ever!" "Then it won't go well for you." "I think not. I brought something else." "A knife? That won't protect you." "I wouldn't ever bring something as crude as a knife. I've got other weapons." "A gun?' "Not that either." "I don't care regardless. I'm going to..." Keith's voice trailed off. He looked around confused. "You see I've prepared something special. I didn't want any loose ends. Loose ends can lead to trouble." "I don't understand." "You've never been too bright. But buck up, I've taken care of everything. I'll help you out." "Help me?" "I'll have someone take care of you. Not just one person, a whole team." "Take care of me?" Keith asked. "I can see you're confused, let me get you some help. Come with me." Keith looked around. He saw trees, a walking path, and a lawn. He was in a park, but still couldn't place where he was. It didn't look familiar. The confusion showed on his face. Douglas walked around Keith and put a hand on his shoulder, gently bidding him to move forward. "Come Dear, let's get you back." "Where are we going?"
