The Trap "Do you have everything, Honey," Gary asked as he entered the room. "I'm not quite finished yet," Stacy replied as she moved several articles of apparel from her drawer to one of her suitcases. Stacey, a woman in her mid-thirties with an air of quiet confidence. She has shoulder-length, chestnut brown hair that she often wears in loose waves, giving her a relaxed yet polished look. Her hazel eyes are bright and expressive, framed by naturally long lashes that add depth to her gaze. Stacey's skin is clear and has a warm, olive undertone, hinting at her Latin heritage. She favors a chic and understated style, often seen in tailored blouses, well-fitted jeans, and elegant flats. She has a knack for accessorizing with simple, tasteful jewelry---like small hoop earrings and a delicate necklace---that enhances her natural beauty without overpowering it. Her Latin heritage and fit body carve out a sensual image on the dance floor when she and Gary, her husband go out dancing when they can find the time to get away from their busy lives. Professionally, Stacey is an accomplished marketing manager, known for her creativity and strategic thinking. Her work ethic is impeccable, but she also knows how to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Outside of work, Stacey enjoys yoga, gardening, and reading historical fiction. She's known among her friends for her warm, empathetic nature and her ability to listen and offer thoughtful advice. She is packing for a business meeting in Atlanta. She'll be away for at least two days, maybe three if there is a problem she can't solve immediately. Gary is used to his wife's business trips. He is very supportive of her career. He isn't jealous at all that she makes a substantial amount of money more than he does. Gary is also in his mid-thirties, with a sturdy build and an easygoing demeanor. His short, dark hair is neatly trimmed, and he has a hint of stubble that gives him a rugged yet approachable look. His blue eyes are often filled with a twinkle of humor, reflecting his optimistic outlook on life. Gary's complexion is fair, and he has a few laugh lines around his eyes and mouth, a testament to his cheerful disposition. Gary works as a software engineer, a job that suits his analytical mind and attention to detail. Despite the demands of his career, he always makes time for his passions, which include playing the guitar, hiking, cooking, and of course, dancing with his wife. His style is casual and comfortable, often seen in well-worn jeans, graphic tees, and sneakers. He has a penchant for quirky socks, which adds a touch of fun to his otherwise laid-back wardrobe. "Can I help with anything?" Gary asks. "Can you get my plum suit and my sapphire suit from the closet with the white mock neck top and the peach V-neck?" Gary and Stacey had been married so long that she could describe her outfit, especially her business outfits, and Gary would know exactly what she meant. Besides for trips like this, the apparel was invariably still in the dry cleaner bags. Gary fetched the requested garments and held them up to confirm he had the right ones. When Gary turned to show Stacey the apparel, Stacey was holding a black sheer mesh and lace backless teddy. It had embroidery in strategic areas allowing it to be worn in public. Stacey usually paired it with a miniskirt when they went out dancing. "Think, I'll need this for my trip?" Stacey quipped. "can you imagine me wearing this under my suit while I'm in all those dull meetings? No one would ever know." "What a waste. Why should they see you when you're wearing that? Wait until you return, we'll go out!" "I'll leave it on the bed. Be a love and return it to the drawer when I'm gone." "Will do. Are these what you wanted?" "Yeah, that's them. Put them in a travel bag." Stacey put the teddy down and continued her search for the rest of the apparel she would need for her trip. "No problem." Working together, Stacey and Gary completed the packing. Gary didn't need to drive Stacey to the airport. They discovered years ago that taking an Uber was the best way to get to and from the airport. After packing they walked to the kitchen and had breakfast until the Uber arrived. They gave each other a quick kiss and Stacey walked out the door. Gary carried her bags to the Uber. Stacey got in the back, the driver placed the luggage into the trunk. The cab drove off.
