Year Zero: Another Version of the Truth Chapter 1 "Go ahead, admit it. You are having an affair," Yvonne Hernandez confronted her husband. "I'm not. I swear." "I know you are. Admit it and tell me who it is with." "Honey, I'm not." "Stop lying to me. It'll be better if you just admit it. If you do then we can move on. But if you don't then there is no future for our marriage." "You have to believe me. I love you and only you." "I didn't ask who you love. I asked who you having an affair with." "Nobody." "Is that your final word?" "It's the truth." "I know it isn't. You are having an affair and if you won't admit it, you'll have to pay the consequences." "The consequences?" "Yeah. You'll have to be punished." "Now you're just talking crazy." "Oh, I am?" "Yes, you can't punish me like I'm a little kid?" "What makes you think you're not a little kid." "Yvonne, come on." "From now on, everyone will see you as a kid." "Sure, whatever." "No, I'm serious. I've got powers. From now on everyone will see you like a little kid. They'll treat you accordingly." Chapter 2 "I've had enough of this. If you aren't going to make sense then I'm getting some cigarettes." "You're not going anywhere." "You going to stop me?" "I'm warning you. It's after dark. Don't go." "What?" "You heard me. Children aren't allowed to walk about unescorted after dark. Not children your age." "You're crazy!" "You had better listen to me,"Yvonne told him as she walked to the kitchen. "I'm out of here!" Taylor replied. He exited the apartment and took the elevator to the lobby. Then he walked outside the building. Yvonne made herself a snack and then presumably looked for Taylor. She looked where he should be and then around the apartment. When she couldn't find him, she ran outside to look for him. She was feigning being a distraught mother with a missing child. Chapter 2 Taylor didn't have anywhere in particular to go. He simply walked down the street. Most people didn't pay much attention to him. That was except for a fine gentleman who thought he saw a little girl walking alone. "What's your name?" Taylor wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. He kept walking." "Where are you going?" "None of your business." "Do you know where your mommy is?" "My Mommy?" "Yeah your Mommy, where is she?" "Leave me alone or you'll be sorry.' The gentleman was unsure what to do. Seeing a little girl that he thought was about seven or eight walking alone at night concerned him. Anything could happen to her. But he couldn't grab her. He might get into trouble if he did that. The gentleman watched where Taylor was going as he dialed 9-1-1. "What is your emergency?" "Hello, my name is Felix Hoffman, I'm at the corner of Redbank and Cyrus Streets. I see a little girl walking all by herself." "Is she with you?" "No, I didn't want to stop her. I think you should tell the police and find her parents." "OK, we'll send someone over. Can you keep an eye on her?" "I'll try." "Great." Noticing that his man was following him, Taylor started to walk faster. Chapter 3 Yvonne at that moment was searching the streets. She was asking strangers if they saw a little girl alone. Yvonne hadn't gone in the right direction to find Taylor, but it didn't matter. She knew that Taylor would be found. Taylor wasn't going to hide like a child who ran away from home. After searching for a short while, Yvonne called the police also. "Hello, you have to help me, my niece is missing!" Yvonne stated in a frantic voice. "What's your niece's name?" "Taylor, Taylor Hernandez." "How old is your niece?" 'She just turned eight, but she is tall for her age." "When did you last see her?" "Maybe 20 minutes ago. I went into the kitchen to make us a snack and she apparently left the apartment. I don't know where she is." "Where are you?" Yvonne gave her location. "We had a report of a young girl in that area." "You have her then?" "No, not yet, but we have sent a car." "Has anything happened to her?" "We don't think so. We just got a report of an unescorted minor and we sent a patrol car." "Where?" "Last seen at the corner of Redbank and Cyrus Streets." "That isn't far, I'll head in that direction." "OK, anything we should know about her?" "No, she's never done this before. She's been staying with me for a short time." Chapter 4 The police finally tracked Taylor down. "Hey, young lady, lost?" "Young lady? What are you talking about?" "My, you are precocious. Are you Taylor Hernandez?" "I haven't done anything illegal." "Honey. no one said you did. Your aunt is looking for you." "My aunt? What are you guys talking about." "Want to ride in a patrol car?" "No, I want to be left alone." "We can't do that. You are too young to be out all by yourself." "I'm old enough." "I know you think you are, but really you aren't." "Listen to me, I don't know what my wife told you, or how she got you to go along with it. I'm a grown man. I don't need any help. Leave me alone!" "Look at the imagination on this one," the officer told his partner. "I'm afraid we can't do that." Taylor wasn't going to run. He stood his ground. "Look, I'm a grown man. I haven't done anything wrong. You can't hold me! I know my rights!" "You're aunt will be here soon. We'll straighten this whole thing out." "I have proof I'm an adult. Taylor took his wallet out of his packet and then handed his driver's license to the officers. The officer looked at it. "Aw isn't this cute," he said as he handed the license to his partner. "Yeah, it almost looks real." "It is real!" Taylor interjected. "Sure, Honey." "See it's me! That's my picture. I'm not a little girl." The picture indeed looked like Taylor. It was his picture, but when the police looked at it, they saw it as clearly the picture of a small child, not a grown man. The police-related their location to the dispatch who phoned Yvonne and told her where to go. A small crowd gathered. They sympathized with the police. The child seemed willful to them. The police were handling it as they should. "I'm not a child. I'm a grown man. Stop treating me like a little kid." "If you want to be treated like an adult you have to start acting like one." "Sweetheart, the police are only trying to help you," one woman in the crowd stated. Taylor didn't know what to do. Fighting the police seemed pointless. Yvonne was right, everyone did see him as a child. He hadn't realized before that they actually saw him like a little girl, not even as a little boy. Taylor considered telling the police that Yvonne had abused him. Then Yvonne would be in trouble. But he rejected that idea. If she was in trouble and everyone thought he was a child, he would end up in a foster home or worse. That would be worse. There was magic involved. The only person who could help him was Yvonne. he would have to put up with this until he could convince her to make everything normal. Chapter 5 Then it occurred to him, everyone saw him as a little girl. Was he really a little girl physically? He didn't think so. He looked at himself he seemed like himself. Not that he checked his penis openly in public. That didn't seem the right thing to do. Yvonne finally arrived on the scene. When Yvonne saw Taylor, she ran up to him and hugged him tightly, like she would a small child who had been lost. "You had me so worried," Yvonne cried as she rocked him. "Don't ever leave without telling me again!" It was a seemingly heartwarming scene for all around them. "Hey, this isn't right. I'm a man!" Taylor complained. "She has a huge imagination," Yvonne explained. "We know. She had this," the officer produced Taylor's driver's license. "We made that on the printer. She likes to pretend." "It does look real." "Thank you." The officer handing it back to Yvonne along with Taylor's wallet. "OK, I think we're done here." "I can't thank you enough for finding her." "No problem." "Hey, she's crazy. I don't want to go with her," Taylor demanded. "Why not? Is your mother mean?" "She's not my mother." "OK, I mean your aunt." "She's not that either." "If you don't want to go with her. I suppose we can take you to a foster family. Do you want to go there?" the police office said. He didn't mean it. He just wanted to scare her a little to encourage her to go home with Yvonne. "No. I'm an adult." "I know what it is like to pretend. But, little-one it's time you acted like an adult and stop pretending. It's time to go home," the police office smiled reassuringly. "I don't want to go home with her." The officer took her aside to assess the situation. To see why this little girl didn't want to go home with her caregiver. The girl didn't have any signs of abuse. She was well fed and didn't have any marks on her. She seems to just be willful. In the end, the police would release her to Yvonne. There wasn't anything else they could do. They didn't want to do anything else either. Chapter 6 After calming down, Taylor had to go home with Yvonne anyway. He could see that everyone thought he was a little girl. There wasn't any convincing them. The only person who could end this nightmare and who knew he was really an adult was Yvonne. Going home with her was his only choice. Yvonne took Taylor by the hand and led him home as she would with a young child. When they were alone. Taylor asked her, "How long is this going to last?" "We'll see," was her cryptic answer. Back at home, Taylor asked Yvonne, "Now what?" "Well, it's way past the bedtime for young girls. So you should brush your teeth and your hair and get ready for bed. You are sleeping in the spare bedroom. I'm afraid it's not appropriately decorated, but it soon will be." Yvonne meant it wasn't decorated for a little girl, but she had plans to convert it to something a little girl would love. "I"m not a young girl," Taylor stated. "Everyone else thinks your a girl. That's good enough for me." "What about my job?" "Don't worry about that. I suspect you are already fired." "Why?" "Well, there is that missing money. They think you stole it." "I didn't take anything." "Just like everyone knows your a little girl, the people at work know you stole that money. Police will probably be here tomorrow or the next day." "You're going to have me arrested?" "My little niece? Never. But my missing husband, they can't arrest him if they can't find him. I'll tell them you left me and I don't know where you went. I'll tell everyone that." "You're diabolical." "Hey, you're the cheater." "I told you, I haven't cheated on you. I swear." "I know that said that before. But get ready for bed. We have a big day tomorrow." Chapter 7 Arguing was pointless. Taylor walked briskly to the bathroom, presumably to get ready for bed. But he just wanted to think. His world was turned upside-down. He needed to think of something. To come up with a plan. The truth is, he needed a smoke. He could use a drink too, but neither of those things was available to him. Regardless, he did what he usually did before bed, he brushed his teeth, washed his face a little, and then took off his clothes, leaving him in only a t-shirt and underwear, and got into bed. He tried to turn on the TV, but it wouldn't work. "Hey, what's wrong with the TV?" "It's past your bedtime, it won't work after eight," Yvonne informed him. "Then what will I do?" "Go to bed." "Yeah, whatever." "Want me to read you a bedtime story." "No!" "Then goodnight." Yvonne turned off the light and close the door leaving it ajar. Taylor didn't go to sleep, he concentrated on coming up with a plan. Chapter 8 A few hours later, Taylor got out of bed. He went to the kitchen and got a knife, then he snuck into the master bedroom where Yvonne was. He put the knife to her neck. "YOU HAD BETTER SWAP ME BACK OR ELSE!" Taylor remanded. "Swap you back? You are the one who said you haven't changed." "You know what I mean." "Oh. I'm not going to do it. What are you going to do with that knife?" ""I'll kill you. It's self-defense." "Oh? Assuming you could do it, you'll tell them what? They will still all think you're a little girl. How will that work out for you? You'll be a little girl with a wild story who had murdered her aunt. Doesn't sound like things will go well for you. I wonder if they'll put you in a foster home or in an asylum." Yvonne paused for Taylor's reaction. When he didn't say anything. "How about this, if you kill me, they won't see you like an eight-year-old anymore. You'll be seen as a three-year-old instead. Then they can't blame you. Of course, without me helping you, you'll stay that way. Imagine that, being stuck as a three-year-old forever. Even year it'll be your third birthday again and you'll have to start from scratch. One day you have completed potty training and are in big girl undies and the next back to pull-ups or diapers as they expect you to learn again. Is that what you want?" It was all a bluff anyway. Taylor knew he couldn't kill Yvonne. He wasn't that type of man. He backed off and returned to his room. "Taylor, but that knife away where you found it!" Yvonne shouted. Defeated, Taylor returned to his room. It was all pretty much a bluff. He wasn't a killer at heart. Yvonne didn't scare. Taylor had never been violent. If she didn't give in to his demands, what could he do? If she was injured or dead then he would not only be stuck as he was, but he would be in trouble too. No one would believe what she had done to him. He was having a hard time himself. Chapter 9 The next morning, Taylor found Yvonne in the kitchen. "Have you brushed your teeth?" Yvonne asked. "We have more to discuss than that." Taylor had brushed his teeth. He did that regularly from when he was really an eight-year-old. "Like what?" "Like what's going on here." "You know exactly what is going on." "It's not possible" "If you say so. But everyone thinks you look like a little girl and there isn't anything you can do about it." "Even if I admit my affair?" "No, it's too late for that." "What do you want from me?" "Just that you accept your punishment. But if you don't it doesn't matter." "How did you do it?" "Does it really matter?" "I'll figure out a way out of this. I'll convince them. I really don't look like a child." "Never said you did. Just that people think you are a child." "That doesn't make sense." "Maybe you should see how you look to people." "OK." Yvonne took out her phone and took a selfie of Taylor. "Here look at yourself." Taylor took the phone. He expected to see his image transformed to that of a little girl, but it hadn't. It was his picture. Everything was the same. But that didn't matter, if he would describe himself the first thing he would say was that he was a little girl, definitely under ten. He couldn't determine the age exactly, but old enough to be in school, but nowhere near being a teen. If he was asked to describe his features, he would say, he was tall close to six feet and 190 or 200 pounds, had brown hair, brown eyes, slight stubble on his face, and a hundred other details. But despite all that, his mind insisted that he was looking at a little girl. He knew he wasn't a little girl. He knew this was what he was supposed to look like. But that didn't change the fact that he was sure he was looking at the picture of a little girl. He was amazed. Yvonne saw the look on Taylor's face. "How will you convince them you are a man when they see you like that and everything within them says, that's a little girl. But it isn't just how you look, it's the same with how people think you sound and any other senses they use. Not that people will go around tasting or smelling you of course. Yvonne smiled at her joke. People could hear your deep voice over the phone and know immediately that you're a child. If you try and make your voice sound deeper, people will believe it's the voice of a little girl who is trying to sound older. Just like an eight-year-old could never fool an adult, you won't be able to either." "How long will this last?" "For as long as I want. Last night didn't help your case. You will have to be punished." Chapter 10 "I put a knife to your throat, what punishment goes with that?" "How about a nice haircut? I think we should style your hair better." Yvonne said brightly. "Everyone already thinks I look like a girl." "Well, let's give you a pretty hairstyle to match. But first, go and brush your teeth. Your breakfast will be waiting for you after you're done." Being a girl or not, Taylor still had to brush his teeth and take a shower in the morning. Yvonne laid out his clothes. His clothes hadn't changed. Taylor looked at the garments provided by Yvonne. "Should I wear these?" he thought. They were his clothing: jeans and a shirt. There wasn't anything wrong or particularly feminine or juvenile about them. He could have selected other apparel if he wanted, but at this point, he didn't want to antagonize Yvonne further. Breakfast consisted of sugary cereal with milk and juice. Taylor wasn't allowed any coffee. Nor was he allowed to cook anything on the stove for himself. He could make his own toast if he wanted to though or microwave an instant breakfast if he wanted. "Come on, time to get your hair cut," Yvonne announced. Taylor didn't want to bring things to a head at this point. He still needed time to think. Yesterday's plans didn't work out so well. He would have to take his time to discover the 'rules of the game' and how to defeat them. He couldn't, as the cop put it, 'run away from home' again. That wouldn't work any better in the day than it would last night. Threatening Yvonne wouldn't work either. She held all the cards. He couldn't hurt her, he needed her to return to a normal life. Chapter 11 They walked to the car. Yvonne was driving. Taylor got into the front passenger seat. "You can't sit there." "Why not?" "Children your age aren't allowed in the front seat in this state. You'll have to sit in the back seat. I'll get you a child safety seat soon. We'll just have to hope no one will notice you don't have one now." "This is ridiculous." "It's the way it is now. You know what you look like to others." Taylor did know. He looked exactly the same as before. But that didn't matter, everyone would still think he's a little girl. He would have to convince them that he is not or wait for Yvonne to return everything to normal. Taylor did as instructed and sat in the back seat. The car had child safety locks. He couldn't open the rear doors from the inside. Chapter 12 Yvonne drove them to a stylist. Then opened the door for Taylor to exit the car. He had already unfastened the seat belt. Then she took him by the hand and led him through the parking lot. "I can walk by myself." "It's dangerous for little girls not to hold their Mommy's hands while in the street." "I'm not a little girl." "No one else thinks that." "But you and I know better." "I don't care. You are holding my hand!" "I won't!" "You know if you were three, you'd still be in diapers. Do you want that?" There wasn't any fighting against it. Taylor allowed Yvonne to hold his hand until he got to the sidewalk. Then he immediately let go of Yvonne's hand. At the strip mall, Taylor didn't seriously consider running away. There wasn't anywhere to go. Besides, that wouldn't solve his problem. Chapter 13. "Taylor needs a haircut," Yvonne informed the stylist. "What would you like?" "Her hair is already very short. I want it a bob style with bangs. I think she'll look adorable with bangs." "I don't want that!" Taylor interjected. "Aw, come on you will love it." Yvonne gave Taylor a look. He quieted instantly. There wasn't anything for him to do. Plus since could comb it later. "Sit right here," the stylist instructed. "If you hold extra steady, I'll give you a lollipop after in any flavor you want." Taylor didn't want a lollipop, but he sat steady anyway. He tried to think, but no solutions were coming. Everyone thought he was a little girl. What could he do to convince them? He could drop his pants and show his penis, but that wouldn't make any difference. He would have to convince them another way. Trying to convince the stylist wouldn't help in any case. She wouldn't want to get involved. She was just doing her job. The haircut took about ten minutes. There wasn't much that the stylist could do with hair so short. Taylor wasn't paying attention to what was being done to his hair. "Why do you look so glum?" the stylist asked Taylor. "I don't want my hair cut." "I'm not going to cut it that much. Just style it a little." "I liked it the way it was." "You'll like this better. It'll suit you better." "I don't care." "You'll see!" the stylist told Taylor brightly. The stylist combed the hair in front of Taylor's eyes and then cut it into bangs. Then she styled the rest of his hair into a cute bob cut. "What do you think?" "I don't like it." "Give it a few days, it'll grow on you." "No, it won't" Despite having a girlie hairstyle, Taylor didn't look any more or less like a little girl as he had before. But when he saw himself in the mirror, his opinion of himself hadn't changed. He was obviously a little girl...all six feet, 190 pounds of him. Chapter 14. Taylor wanted to get out of the chair. "Aren't I done?" Taylor asked. "Just one more thing. One second." "OUCH!!!" The stylist pierced Taylor's right ear. "Hey, why did you do that." "You're mom said to pierce your ears." "She isn't my mom." "OK, I mean your aunt." Taylor didn't see any reason to try and explain she wasn't his aunt either. "But, I didn't want my ears pierced." "Why not you'll look much prettier." "I don't want to be pretty." "Well it's too late, you already are. You are as cute as a button!" "No," Taylor told her. But when he looked in the mirror his description of himself would be that of a pretty girl who was pouting. He wasn't trying to pout. But that was the impression he was giving himself while looking in the mirror. It was odd to know except for the haircut he hadn't changed, but that was the impression he was giving off. While Taylor was arguing, the stylist completed the piercing operation with the other ear. "OUCH!" Taylor yelled again. "All done. Now you can have your sucker," she informed him. Taylor got out of the chair. When he left the salon chair his hair had a bob cut with bangs and he had two stud earrings in his ears. Chapter 15. "That's great," Yvonne enthused. She paid the stylist and they left the salon. Yvonne grabbed his hand as soon as they entered the parking lot and led him to the car. "Now can we go home?" "Nope, time to get you some new clothes." Taylor should have expected that. "I wish I had a cigarette," Taylor mumbled from the back seat as they drove. "What did you say?" "You heard me." "Little girls don't smoke." "This one does." "Not anymore. Why don't you try sucking your thumb? I'm sure you'll find that just as satisfying as a cigarette. It's a lot healthier too." "I'm not going to do that." "Suit yourself." The idea was planted into Taylor. He needed a cigarette, maybe his thumb in his mouth would be OK. It was all he could think about on the way. Chapter 16. They didn't go straight to a department store. They stopped at an IHOP. "I thought we are going shopping?" "We will, but let's have lunch first." As usual, Yvonne held Taylor's hand as they walked through the parking lot. "Only two of you?" the hostess questioned. "Yes," Yvonne answered. "Do you need a child seat?" "No, I think it'll be alright." Yvonne and Taylor followed the hostess to a table. She placed a child's placemat in front of Taylor without being asked and a box with four crayons inside. But she didn't give him a menu. Only Yvonne got a menu. Yvonne actually got two menus. The regular menu and the kiddie menu." Taylor gave the hostess a look which she ignored. "The waitress will be right with you. But can I get you a drink?" "I'll have a coke," Yvonne said. "Me too," Taylor agreed. The hostess left. "Aren't you going to color your placemat?" "No." "I think you should?" "Why?" "It'll take your mind off that cigarette I know you want. That is unless you want to suck your thumb instead." "Yvonne, this has gone far enough." "It has hardly even started." "If you let me go, you'll never have to see me again. I'll give you a divorce, you can have everything you want." "Who says I want a divorce." "What then?" "I think things are working out fine now." Chapter 17. The two quieted when the waitress came to the table with drinks. Yvonne received a glass of soda, but Taylor's soda was in a plastic cup with a lid on top. "What will you have?" the waitress asked. "We haven't decided yet, come back in few minutes," Yvonne spoke for both of them. "Sure thing." "What do you want?" Yvonne asked. "I'm not too hungry. What I really want is a cigarette." "You can't have that. Try sucking your thumb. I'll bet that will help." "No way!" "Suit yourself. Why not use your crayons to do the games on your mat? It'll keep your mind off of things." "Why would I do that?" "It might be fun. When was the last time you colored?" "I'm still an adult." "If you want I can make coloring seem like the most fun thing you can do to yourself." "You can do that? Haven't you done enough?" Taylor didn't consider what Yvonne could do to him. Could she make him love to color and act like a little girl? Maybe she could. She already changed how he appeared to the whole world, including himself. Maybe making him love coloring was possible. "Just trying to be helpful. You'll need some new hobbies. After all smoking, drinking and that fun you had with your mistress is out." "I'm not having an affair." "I thought you just said you would leave and I wouldn't have to see you again." "That's different. After what you did, you think we can go back to normal." "It's not what I did. It's what you did." "I didn't". "Don't deny it." When the waitress returned, Taylor was still undecided. He hadn't taken the time to look at the menu at all. Yvonne ordered a hamburger for herself. "I'll get that too," Taylor told the waitress. The waitress looked to Yvonne who confirmed Taylor's choice with a nod of her head. But when the burgers arrived, Yvonne got the full-sized burger with fries and Taylor got the cheeseburger off the kiddie menu. It came with applesauce. Yvonne gave Taylor a hand full of fries from her plate. They ate their meal in silence. Taylor was too upset to eat much, thus the junior cheeseburger was enough for him. Chapter 18. Clothes shopping for Taylor was next. Finding the clothes in the proper style and size was tough. Yvonne had to look for larger clothes in the girl's size 7-16 and plus-size sections, as well as some clothes in the women's section and a few things that we're even in the men's section that a girl might like. They also purchased bedding that would be appropriate for a room that houses a small girl. It took all day before the duo returned home. Taylor was glad to be back home. He headed towards the guest room which was his room now. He was carrying some of his new purchases with him. Yvonne insisted. There wasn't a reason to pick unnecessary fights at this point. "Fold your clothes and place them nicely in your drawers," Yvonne reminded him. Taylor didn't answer. Taylor smelled something on the way to his room. It was the smell of drying paint. His formerly white-colored room had been repainted with pink highlights. There was also a vanity that hadn't been there before. Taylor looked at his room with his mouth agape when he saw it. It was clear that these wouldn't be the only changes to his room. "Do you like it?" Yvonne asked as she walked behind him. "No." "It'll grow on you. Help me put your things away." Yvonne was carrying more of Taylor's new purchases. Taylor looked at his new clothes. Most of the clothes were from the girl's department although they were in the sizes for plus-size girls. Taylor looked at the clothes as he put them away, even though they were for bigger girls they still had more juvenile patterns. Out of curiosity, Taylor checked the label, he found that the sizes listed were mostly 14/16 Plus with an occasional 18 Plus thrown in. His new panties were a woman's size seven although they were full cut and had what he thought were childish designs. There weren't any bras of any type although there was a package of fruit-of-the-loom big girl camis in size 16. There were two pairs of men's pants, but they were in light pink and bright yellow. Finally, there were three pairs of girl's pajamas as well as two nightgowns. They were in little girl style and thus didn't have any sex appeal even if a woman was wearing them. While Taylor was folding his clothes and putting them into the drawers that Yvonne indicated. She was remaking his bed with new bedding, which included sheets, a comforter, pillowcases, and the rest. The room was slowly changing from the guestroom to a bedroom for a young lady. The walls had already been painted and the bed sheets and comforter had a distinctly childish design. Taylor didn't care about the sheets, he just wanted to lay down and think. There had to be something he could do. He certainly wasn't ready to give up. He couldn't let Yvonne win without a fight. The problem was that he didn't know how to fight back. There had to be something. What he really wanted was a cigarette. No matter how hard he tried to think of something else, his desire for a cigarette kept interrupting him. "I need help," Taylor thought. But who could help him? Well, there were two groups of people: his family and his friends. The problem was even if they could help him, how would he contact them. He didn't have a phone anymore. Yvonne had informed him that eight-year-olds don't carry phones. They are too irresponsible with them. They lose things so easily. There weren't any house phones in his home like when he was a kid. Everyone has a cell phone now. There isn't a need for a phone attached to the wall. He couldn't use Yvonne's phone, he didn't have her password to activate it. Taylor even had a bigger problem, he didn't know anyone's number anyway. No one dials phones these days, they just press one button, and the phone dials itself. There isn't a need to remember phone numbers anymore. Taylor didn't even remember Yvonne's phone number. He might have never dialed it except for the first time he placed the number into his own phone's directory. Taylor spent the next few minutes trying to remember his best friend's number. But every time he tried to get to thinking, that damn need to smoke returned. It wasn't until Taylor took Yvonne's advice that he was able to start to think clearly. Sucking his thumb somehow relieved his need to smoke. He supposed it was the placebo effect. As long as he had something in his mouth it satisfied him. Not that it helped him remember his best friend's phone number. Chapter 19. Yvonne was in the master bedroom, while Taylor was thinking. She was cleaning out his drawers and throwing all of Taylor's former clothing into big trash bags. They would be disposed of in the morning. The doorbell rang, Yvonne answered the door. Taylor didn't even stir from his thoughts. "Are you Mrs. Hernandez?" "Yes." "I'm Detective Gannon, can I come in?" "Surely." "Is your husband Taylor Hernandez at home?" "No." "Do you know when he'll be back?" "I don't know. He left me." "He did?" "Yes, he left me a note. It said he ran off with his mistress. It said he wouldn't be back." "Do you have that letter?" "No, I destroyed it." "Oh, I see. We are looking for your husband. There is a discrepancy with your husband's accounts at his place of business. We are looking into the matter." "How much of a discrepancy?" "Almost a quarter of a million dollars." "Really?" "Yes, we are anxious to talk to him." "I don't know where he is." "Is anyone in the house with you?" "Only my niece. She is eight." "Anyone else?" "No." "Mind if I look around?" "No, no problem." The detective searched the house. When he entered what was now Taylor's bedroom, Taylor looked up. "Who are you?" "I'm Detective Gannon, Honey. I'm just looking around. Have you seen your uncle?" "My uncle? No." "OK, Honey. Sorry to bother you." the detective said and then closed the door to Taylor's room. "If you hear from your husband, please contact me at this number," the detective asked Yvonne as he handed her a card. "No, problem." Chapter 20. Taylor exited his room to ask Yvonne, "What did he want?" Since Yvonne set it up, she knew exactly what it was without being told. "They think you embezzled money from work to the tune of a quarter of a million dollars. If they find you, i mean my former husband, he'll be arrested." "What?" "You heard me. But don't worry as long as no one knows you are you, nothing will happen." "I never stole any money." "That isn't what your boss believes." "You did this!" "I'm not going to deny that. It was certainly a lot easier than convincing everyone that you are just a child." "What am I going to do?" "Just be a happy little girl. Hey, have you tried on any of the clothes we bought?" "No." "Let's try them on. I'm dying to see how you look in them. Why not get dressed for bed?" Taylor saw his life slipping away. He didn't want to be a little girl, but if he returned to his old life, the police would be after him. Then an idea struck him. "Hey, can you return everything back to normal?" "I can?" "I mean not only everyone seeing me as a man again, but the police and my boss forgetting all about this stealing thing?" "I can do it. But not until after you've been punished for you you did. Maybe if you take your punishment like a man, and be a good little girl?" "A good little girl?" "You know like getting dressed for bed." "OK," Taylor agreed. Until he came up with a better idea, he decided to just go along. Chapter 21. Taylor knew what Yvonne wanted. Was it really all that bad to humor her for a while and put on some clothes for bed? Taylor guessed not. He entered his room and was prepared to put on a nightgown, but Yvonne called out, "Hey Taylor, why not wear those 'My Little Pony' pajamas we got. "Sure thing, Yvonne." "Oh, and stop called me Yvonne, call me Aunt Yvonne or better yet just Auntie." "Fine," Taylor said, and then realizing that there might be a hint of annoyance in his voice he said it again, "OK, Aunt Yvonne." Taylor found the 'My Little Pony' pajamas. He knew exactly where they were, he had put them away a short time ago. The pajamas themselves weren't overly feminine. They weren't even in a pink color, they were mostly in a navy blue with pink accents on the cuffs on the hands and feet and neckline. The long-sleeved top had navy sleeves with a light blue bodice featuring a design of Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Twilight Sparkle in among rainbows, hearts, and stars which have glitter detailing. Not that Taylor knew the names of these characters. It was paired with a navy motif on elasticated bottoms. He was about to put them on when he realized he was still wearing male underwear. Taylor swapped his male briefs for a pair of white girls' briefs which had a multicolored pastel heart pattern on them. Technically, they weren't girls' briefs they were women's briefs, but the print and style would suit a small girl perfectly. Taylor quickly got dressed and displayed himself to Yvonne. "What do you think...Yvo... Aunt Yvonne." "Oh, they are so cute!" Yvonne enthused. "And they fit you just right." Did they really fit him? That was debatable. Taylor didn't have any problem getting them on and they stretched enough to fit all the curves of his body. But the bulge in his crotch was clearly evident too. Taylor suspected that it couldn't be helped and that it didn't matter at all. Chapter 22. Later, Taylor returned to his room to think. He never considered that if he was to return to normal that he might be arrested for something he never did. He had never stolen from his employer. He was a good employee with up until then a good reputation. Taylor laid down on his bed on top of his comforter. It was adorned in mermaid-style bedding (including the sheets underneath). The comforter matched the room as it was mostly white with a light pink and blue print. He rested his head on the pillow and began to think. Since he didn't have a cigarette, something he wouldn't be having any time soon, he put his thumb into his mouth. It did satisfy his craving again. Taylor spent his time thinking, not that any realistic plan came to him. He was sure of one thing, he needed to convince someone that he was a man and see if that person could help him. "It's your bedtime, Sweetheart," Yvonne informed him. "My bedtime?" "Yes, all little girls need their beauty sleep." "I'm not a little girl." "I'm not going to argue the point. Do you want me to read you a bedtime story?" "No." "Then it's nightie-night for you." Taylor got under the covers and Yvonne turned out the light. She plugged a blue-canary nightlight in the outlet by the light switch. Chapter 23. The next day began, the same as the last. Wake up, shower, brush teeth, comb hair. Yvonne laid out Taylor's clothing for the day and breakfast of sugary cereal. The doorbell rang. Yvonne answered the door. It was Taylor's mother, Elizabeth. Taylor was glad to see her, but she looked upset. "Mom!" he shouted. "Hello little one, how are you today?" Elizabeth asked. "I have a lot to tell you." "I want to hear it all, but I have to talk to your aunt first. Go watch a video or something while we talk. I promise I'll be with you in a few minutes." "But, Mom." "Just a few minutes, Darling. Promise. Adults have to talk." It was clear that Elizabeth, (his real mother) was very concerned about something. She also didn't recognize him as her son. Elizabeth saw him not as her son, but her granddaughter. The daughter of her other daughter. She didn't mind Taylor calling her Mom, as she wasn't living with her mother but her aunt or so she thought. She would spend some quality time with her granddaughter, but for now, she had to talk to Yvonne. "Do you know who contacted me?" "I can guess. Someone from the police." "Yes. What is this all about?" "All I know is that Taylor left me. He went off with his girlfriend." "I don't believe it. I don't believe any of it. My Taylor could never steal from his company. He would never have a girlfriend." "I can only tell you what I know. I've suspected he has had a girlfriend for a while. The embezzlement shocked me too." "Not my son." "I don't know what to tell you. He's gone and the police suspect him of stealing money from the company. What can I do?" "I guess your right. I'm sure there is an explanation. I can't imagine Taylor doing any of those things." Meanwhile, Taylor walked to the master bedroom. He wanted to get out of his little girl's clothes and get back into his regular clothes to talk to his mother. But when he looked, he couldn't find his former apparel. There was empty space where his clothing should be, both in the drawers and closets. Taylor didn't realize what Yvonne had done. Chapter 24. Grandma put a smile on her face and then searched out Taylor. "Nana is here sweetie," Elizabeth announced. "How is my little girl?" "Not good. You have to help me!" "I'm always here for you." "I'm not a girl, I'm your son Taylor and I didn't steal anything from my company." "I know you didn't" "You have to see me as I truly am. I'm not a little girl. I'm a grown man. I'm your son Taylor." "Don't be ridiculous." "No, it's true." "I know, I know. You want to be at your own home with your real Mommy and Daddy. I understand. But you have to stay with Aunt Yvonne for a little while. It won't be too long." "No, it's not that. It's Yvonne." "I know she's not your Mommy. You'll be back with your Mommy soon. But, Aunt Yvonne is taking care of you for now." "You don't understand. I'm not a little girl." "You're Nana's big girl." "No, I'm not a girl." Elizabeth surmised that between not being at her own home and all this business with her uncle that Taylor was having a problem. She tried to soothe her. "Calm yourself. Everything will turn outright. You are going to be OK." "I'm not OK, I'm not Taylor. I mean I am Taylor but I'm not your granddaughter. Let me try and prove it to you." "Sure," Grandma said trying to humor Taylor. Chapter 25. Taylor wanted to come up with something that only he and his mother would know. When I was sixteen and I returned from..." While Taylor was telling his story, something that would prove that he wasn't a little girl, his mother's eyes went blank. "Are you listening to me?" Then a moment later, a wet spot developed in the crotch of her pants. The stain traveled down her leg and soon was dripping onto the floor. She was having an accident, but she didn't seem to mind. Quite the opposite was happening, a big smile grew upon her face. Taylor looked up and saw Yvonne in the doorway. "Go ahead tell your story. Your mother likes stories. But make it brief and exciting, her attention span isn't what it used to be. She thinks she is only two years old now." "YOU MONSTER!" "Just act the part and I'll return her to normal. Do you want her to stay like this?" "You can't do this?" "Why not? I'll call your dad. He won't have any problem taking care of her. I'll make him think he's her mother." "Stop it, stop it!" "You'll behave?" "I will." "OK, then." Intelligence came back into Taylor's mother's eyes. "Oh, my goodness gracious. It seems granny had a little accident," Elizabeth announced. "What happened?" Yvonne asked. "I've been sick. It's no big deal. Do you have something I can wear?" "No problem. You go into the bathroom and get cleaned up. I'll hand you a few things." "Thanks." Taylor felt more trapped than he had been before. He couldn't tell his mother, he couldn't tell his best friend. If Yvonne found out, then she could do anything to them. There wasn't an easy way to reach Taylor's best friend anyway. Why would he come over? Taylor couldn't even call him. He didn't remember the number and he didn't have access to a phone either. Yvonne fetched a pair of panties and pants for Taylor's mother to wear. They were ordinary lady's pants with an elastic waist that could accommodate her slightly larger size without much trouble. "I'll wash these," Yvonne told Elizabeth. "Great." "Hey I have an idea, why not take Taylor to the park? By the time your back, your pants will be cleaned." "That's a wonderful idea," Elizabeth agreed. Then to Taylor, she asked, "Do you want to go to the park with Nana?" Taylor was hesitant. "Taylor go, you'll have lots of fun. Someone has to go with Nana, in case she has another accident." Taylor didn't want to go, but she detected something in Yvonne's voice. She wasn't asking him to go, she was telling him he had to go. "OK, let's go." Nana having another accident sounded like a threat to him. "Don't sound so upset. You'll have a great time." "I wish I could go with you," Yvonne started. Taylor thought for a second that maybe he could convince his mother on the way. As Yvonne was staying behind. But then Yvonne dashed his hopes when she told them, "I promise I'll be with you in spirit sharing all the fun. Don't forget to ride on all the rides. Swing on the swing, slide down the slide, climb the monkey bars. Maybe make a friend or two. I'll want to hear all about it when you get back." Reluctantly, Taylor left with Elizabeth for the park. He knew what he had to do. He had to play the part of the little seven-year-old. He had to do what was expected. If he didn't not only himself, but his mother would be punished. He could man up and be the little girl, but his mother didn't deserve to be a two-year-old. Chapter 26. Elizabeth escorted Taylor to the park. She held his hand on the way. Taylor needed a cigarette extremely badly again. He put his left thumb into his mouth, it helped last time. It helped again. Elizabeth wished that Taylor would give up sucking her thumb. She was getting old, she was eight. But since she wasn't living with her parents, for the time being, Elizabeth decided not to say anything. She let Taylor suck away. "Taylor," she said, "I know you wish you were staying with your Mommy and Daddy right now, but don't worry you'll be back with them soon." "How soon?" Taylor asked naturally. "I don't know. But it won't be too long. They do love you and want you back." Taylor hadn't thought about that. Yvonne was supposedly his aunt, not his mother. Would he be living with his sister and her husband instead of Yvonne one day? They wouldn't even know anything was wrong. But what about the real Taylor, the real eight-year-old who was his niece, what happened to her? If he moved 'back' where would she go? Did she ever exist? Maybe Yvonne is putting her existence in his mind, just like everyone else's. Taylor couldn't be sure. Elizabeth kept trying to comfort Taylor as they walked, but it wasn't helping him any. It just reminded him that he could be stuck like this for a long time. Maybe the rest of his life. Chapter 27. At the park, Elizabeth sat on a bench and let Taylor go out and play. "What did Yvonne say?" Taylor thought. "Go on the swings, slide, and play on the monkey bars." Taylor decided to go on the swings first, he could sit and think as long as he kept moving back and forth. "Taylor, want Nana to push you?" Elizabeth called out. "No, I want to show you I can go high by myself." "OK." Taylor ticked off each thing he did. He swung on the swings, check. Next, he went to the slide and slid down it a bunch of times. He climbed to the top of the monkey bars. That wasn't as easy as it seemed, he wasn't in shape but somehow he lifted himself to the top. Then there was the sandbox. He needed to make a friend so he could use the see-saw. Of course, with the difference in his weight with a normal little girl, it would be hard to use it. Finally, the hour was up and it was time to go home. "Did you have fun?" "Yes," Taylor lied although he tried to look sincere. Chapter 28. Back at home, Taylor returned to his room. It had changed even more since he had left. Some children's items had been delivered by Amazon. Yvonne put them in the appropriate places in Taylor's room. "How did it go?" Yvonne asked Elizabeth. "She seemed to have fun." "Did she play with any of the other children?' "No." "I was afraid of that. She doesn't seem to be making a lot of friends since she got here." "Well, it's all-new for her." "Do you have any suggestions?" "The best place to make friends is at planned activities that you go to every week." 'What a great idea." "She loves to dance. Why not sign her up?" "Yeah, Taylor will just love taking ballet. She'll meet many girls her age. I'm sure she'll make many friends." Chapter 29. Taylor in his room didn't have any idea what was being planned for him, nor that his own mother had suggested it. He indulged in the one pleasure that was left for him. He sucked his thumb and imagined he was still smoking a cigarette. It calmed him just as a cigarette would. Once calm, Taylor turned on the television in his room. He found to his disappointment that the stations he was allowed to watch were severely limited. Anything with a more mature theme was restricted. But Yvonne wasn't going too overboard. Taylor could still watch old episodes of Gilligan's Island. Taylor was still sucking his thumb and watching TV when Yvonne entered his room. "Hey. guess what, grandma made a great suggestion. I'm enrolling you in a dance class!" Yvonne stated enthusiastically "You're kidding." "No, you are going to learn how to dance. You'll be able to make new friends." "Make new friends?" "Yeah, Grandma said you need some friends your own age. It'll help you find some." "You mean you want me to be friends with little girls." "Naturally." "That's sick! I'm a grown man." "Are you? Are you really? When I came in here you were sucking your thumb." "That's different. I don't have any cigarettes." "Don't get me wrong. I don't care if you suck your thumb or not." "Whatever, I'm not going to dance." "Yes, you are!" "OK, you can make me go, but you can't make me dance." "You'll dance, you'll make friends." "...and if I don't?" "Then you'll be punished." "I'm already being punished according to you. What are you going to do? ground me? I don't want to go anywhere anyway." "How about no more TV?" "Big deal." "I can punish you and you won't like it." Taylor didn't know what that meant. Did he want to risk being punished without knowing what the punishment entailed? "OK, I'll go to dance," Taylor said reluctantly. "Good, and you'll look to find a friend while there?" "How can I do that? What do I have in common with a little girl." "Well, you'll be in the same dance class for one. I can make it that you have a lot in common. Do you want that?" "What do you mean?" "Never mind. We are leaving in an hour? Be ready." "Leaving?" "Yeah, you need some leotards and stuff for your class. We have to go out and get them." "You don't need me to get that stuff." "True, but I can't leave a child like you alone in the apartment. Wait, do you want me to get you a babysitter?" "No, I'll go with you." "Great, be ready in an hour." "A babysitter?" Taylor thought. He hadn't thought about that. Everyone thought he was seven or eight years old, when Yvonne was away he would have to be watched like a little girl. His babysitter probably wouldn't be a grown woman either, some teenager would probably be watching him. A person who was hardly more than a child herself. Then Taylor thought about the other thing that Yvonne said. He could be punished. What did that mean? The punishments for a little girl didn't mean anything to him. What would she do? Would she take away his privileges, that wasn't anything? Could she ground him? He was grounded wherever he went. How about a time-out? he was an adult. She could give him a spanking? Come on. As he was thinking, his thumb moved inside his mouth. He wasn't even thinking about doing it. It was one of the things that made him feel better. Yvonne sounded serious about punishing him. She sounded like she knew it would be effective. If she could make the entire world think he is a little girl, what could she do to punish him? He didn't know. His best bet right now was to play along and see what happens. Chapter 30. "Time to go," Yvonne announced. Taylor pulled his thumb out of his mouth and got off his bed. "Here take this," Yvonne handed him a teddy bear. "What's this?" "You know. Carry it everywhere." "Do I have to?" "Yes." Taylor put it under his arm and followed Yvonne out. They went to the car, Taylor got into the back seat once again. Yvonne and Taylor were getting into a routine. Yvonne always opened the door for Taylor when he got out. The back door had a child safety lock, it couldn't be opened from the inside. Taylor exited the car. "Aren't you forgetting something?" "I don't.." Taylor remembered his teddy bear. He reached back into the car to get it. "Wouldn't want to forget that. I know how you get when you don't have it!" She then held his hand whenever they were crossing a street or in a parking lot. As they were walking toward the stores, Yvonne asked out of the blue, "Do you know how to skip?" "I haven't done that in decades." "Ah, so you know, why not skip?" "I don't want to." "Go ahead. You'll look so cute with your skirt flying in the air as you skip." Taylor gave Yvonne a look. "Maybe later." Chapter 31. They entered the store that sells dance apparel. Yvonne looked around for what she needed. It could have taken only a few minutes, but Yvonne prolonged the experience. She didn't make Taylor try on anything, but she did hold the products up to his body to 'imagine what they would look like if he wore them'. A sales associate approached Yvonne. "Can I help you?" "Yes, I'm signing up Taylor for dance. I need the usual stuff." "Leotards and tights?" "Yeah." "How about skirts, t-shirts, and tutus?" "No, I don't think I'll need them to start." "OK." "As you can see Taylor is big for her age. She might be hard to fit." "Don't be ridiculous. We've got every size." The associate took out a tape measure and measured Taylor's waist and the length from his crotch to his neck. "So you are going to learn to dance. Lucky you." Taylor didn't say anything. "I think she is nervous. This will be Taylor's first dance class." "Oh, I see. Anyway, we have lots of things, you can find them over here." The associate showed Yvonne where to go and then left to 'find some things in the back." "Smile, you're supposed to like this," Yvonne admonished when the associate departed. "I don't feel like smiling." "OK, Miss Grumpy. Suit yourself." Yvonne gave a sly smile as she spoke. Taylor was discovering the things he had to do and the things he had an option for. He didn't have to smile all the time and he didn't have to skip. But wondering too far away from Yvonne was definitely a no-no. A short while later, Taylor realized he needed to go to the bathroom. He didn't say anything to Yvonne though. But as they walked around the store looking for leotards, Taylor's need grew. "Is this going to take much longer?" "Why, do you have somewhere you need to go?" "No, I have to pee." "It shouldn't take too long." Then to the associate, Yvonne said, "I like these, can I see something like that in a different color?" But as they walked around, Taylor's need grew. "Yvonne, come on, please. I really have to go!" "Call me Mommy or Aunt Yvonne," she instructed him softly. "But Aunt Yvonne, I have to go." "OK, just give me a second. I'll take you. Just let me pay for this." Taylor felt the pressure build in his crotch. While he was standing, he forced his legs together. When they started to walk, he had to put a hand on his privates to keep from wetting himself. Unconsciously he was doing the peepee dance. He was literally jumping from one foot to the other. "Hurry!" "Honey, it's not our turn yet." "I don't care. Come back later. Right now I don't have much time left. Yvonne put her items down. "Fine, we'll go now." She made sure to hold his hand as they were walking towards the restrooms. Taylor quickened his pace, but Yvonne would only let him go so fast. "Next time I tell you to do something," Yvonne warned in a low tone, "You'll do what I tell you!" Chapter 32. When Taylor headed for the men's room, Yvonne redirected him in the proper direction. There were other women in there, but they didn't pay Taylor any mind. Although they did notice the need in his face. Much to Taylor's horror, all the stalls were taken. Taylor didn't know what to do. He had to go very badly. He cupped his crotch to keep from wetting himself. But that wasn't enough, he was doing the peepee dance. "Let's go to the men's room. I have to go bad." "I'm sorry sweetheart. You'll just have to wait. It won't take long." When a stall was finally vacated, Taylor needed to go so bad, that he didn't even bother to close the stall door. He wanted to reach under his skirt, pull down his panties, and pee standing like a man. That was his plan, but Yvonne warned him before he got to the stalls. "I know what you want to do. Don't you dare? You know the proper way. If you don't you won't like what will happen!" It only took a second, to turn around, plop his butt on the toilet seat and relieve himself. He hadn't remembered the last time he needed to pee so badly. Yvonne shut the door for him. "Sweetheart, remember to wipe after you are finished," Yvonne said in a voice loud enough that most of the people in the restroom could hear. When he was finished and came out of the stall, Yvonne asked him again, "Did you wipe?" "Yes." "Good, now wash your hands. Don't just get them wet, use the soap too." "OK." Taylor wondered if this is what Yvonne meant by punishment. Could there be a worse thing? Did she make him need to go so bad? Taylor wasn't sure. But with what Taylor saw of Yvonne's power so far, it was possible. Chastened, Taylor didn't just walk back to the store, he skipped. Although he made sure not to get too far ahead of Yvonne. Yvonne ended up buying three leotards (in black, white, and light pink) along with six pairs of tights (in the same colors) and two pairs of ballet shoes. Chapter 33. Then instead of going home, Yvonne went to a store that caters to children and bought Taylor some more outfits. Taylor was a 'good little girl' and never left Yvonne's side. "Yvonne," Taylor asked in the car. "Call me Aunt Yvonne," she cut him off. "Aunt Yvonne, did you make me pee?" "Make you pee? You've been peeing long before I knew you." "You know what I mean. Did you make me need to pee so badly?" "How could I do that?" "You know." "Next you are going to accuse me of giving you a girl's name." Taylor is a man's name?" "It is? Taylor Swift is a woman and you have her name." "So." "So can you name a man who is named Taylor?" Taylor thought about it. He couldn't think of one. He put his thumb into his mouth and thought about what Yvonne just said. "Was Taylor really his name? How could he be sure?" They rode home in silence after that. Chapter 34. "Yvonne..." Taylor started to say and then corrected himself after Yvonne stared at him, "Aunt Yvonne, my name has always been Taylor? Right?" "What do you think?" "I think it has." "Then OK is was." "Is it true or are you just telling me that?" "If you think your name is Taylor, then why wouldn't it be?" "That's no answer," Taylor told her. He wasn't a girl but everyone thought he was. If that was true then anything could be true. "Does it really matter? You are Taylor." "But was I always called Taylor?" "Sure you were." "OK, that's all I wanted to know." Chapter 35. Taylor went to his room, it had been redecorated some more. There was a watercolor poster that was broken up into four parts, the top left and bottom right showed a watercolor of a girl in dance poses. The top right was printed in those same watercolors with an inspirational quote "She Believed She Could and So She Did." The bottom left had scripted words in watercolors that proclaimed "She Leaves A Little Sparkle Wherever She Goes." But that was just a poster. Actually painted on the wall over the headboard of his bed, was a pair of dance slippers and the words "Dance With Your Heart and Your Feet Will Follow." There were also books on the shelves about dance. The comforter on the bed also had a dance theme. There was even a dance bar across a mirror on the wall farthest from the window. Besides the obvious dance-themed accents, the rest of the old furniture had been replaced with furniture indicative of a room for a young girl. Taylor wondered if someone came in and set this all up while he was out, or if it was done magically. Then a new thought appeared in his mind. "Maybe none of this is here at all? Maybe I just think it has changed and it is still the same relatively drab guestroom it has always been. How was he to know? Could he really trust his eyes? When he looks into a mirror his eyes tell him that he is a girl although he knows better. Chapter 36. "Let's try on your leotards, I want to make sure they fit," Yvonne said. A moment later after Taylor didn't reply. "Oh, I just had your room finished. Don't you just love it?" "It's nice," Taylor replied noncommittally. "Great, now try this one." She handed him a leotard and a pair of tights in black. Taylor knew there wasn't anything to be gained by not complying so he started to take off his apparel. "Hey don't throw your clothes around. Fold it nicely." "OK, Yvo...Aunt Yvonne." Taylor didn't take much care in folding his clothes, but he did fold them and leave it on a stand in his room. "Do I wear panties?" "No, you don't need panties with these. They have a cotton gusset." He folded his panties once in half and placed them on top of the rest. Then he sat down to put on his tights. He had seen Yvonne put on hose often enough to know what to do. He pulled it up one left to just below his knee and then the other. Then he stood up to pull it the rest of the way to his waist. Next, he stepped into the leotard and pulled it up. It was big enough and stretchy enough to fit him comfortably. "Don't forget the slippers." Taylor slipped his feet into the ballet slippers. They felt like a cross between shoes and socks at the same time. "Turn around," Yvonne commanded. "That is fine, just fine. Let me see you in the other leotards." Taylor put on the white one and then the pink one without changing his tights. They were slightly different from each other in a way other than the color. One had short sleeves, one was a tank and one had spaghetti straps. They all fit. Taylor took off his dance clothes and returned to his 'regular' apparel. As Yvonne was putting his new stuff away, she remarked, "There is a book on dance on the shelf. You should read it." Taylor didn't know if this was a command or just a suggestion. Taylor found the book she was referring to. It's called "Little Ballerina Dancing Book" It introduces five dances from famous ballets and shows young readers how to do some of the simpler steps. Taylor didn't want to, but he read through the book in case Yvonne asked about it. It wasn't really any big deal to look through it. It was definitely a book for children. It is only ten animated pages, The first page was the name of the dance and a small paragraph about it. The second page shows some moves/positions from that dance. There is also a button that turns on a click of music to dance to such as stand on your toes and twirl around or point down to your toes. It might be more for a five-year-old than his apparent age of eight. It didn't take long to look through it. After Taylor was done, he laid back on his bed put his thumb into his mouth, and sucked. Sucking his thumb was becoming one of the few things he enjoyed. Like smoking had been previously, it realized his stress. He didn't dare think that Yvonne was making him suck his thumb. He didn't want to give up the only thing that made him feel good. The rest of the evening was uneventful. Taylor was called to dinner. It was a dinner of hot dogs with baked beans and juice. Then what was now his early bedtime. Chapter 37. The next day, Yvonne laid out Taylor's clothes. She wanted him to wear a pretty but casual dress with nude opaque tights and a matching bikini pantie. It was a burgundy floral dress with flutter sleeves, a round neck, and a ruffle trim. It extended to his knee tops. Taylor took it all in stride. He pulled on his panties and then rolled the tights up his legs. The dress was pulled into place from over his head. On his feet, he wore his first pair of Mary Janes. "Beautiful, I just wish your hair was long enough for a ribbon," Yvonne remarked. "Ehh, someday." Taylor didn't comment. There wasn't anything to say. Taylor ate his breakfast. He tried to keep quiet, but he was just too curious. "Where are we going?" "I'm sorry to say, but due to your apparent theft from the company, you have been fired. I am going to your former job and pick up your personal items. You're coming with me." "Oh my god," Taylor said. He knew better than to say what he was thinking. "I don't want to go." "Don't worry. We won't be there long. No one will blame you. I'm sure they will think you are cute as a button. I know I do." After breakfast, Yvonne personally fixed Taylor's hair. She loved his new bangs. But while fixing his hair, she just couldn't resist, she put a butterfly hair clip into Taylor's hair. When it was time to leave, Yvonne gave Taylor his dolly and escorted him to the car. This was the first time he had ever worn tights outside the house. They felt different on his legs. He had never worn anything so formfitting. It was a new experience. Taylor wasn't sure if he had ever worn anything made of nylon in his life? Could some of his t-shirts have been made of this material? He didn't know. Maybe he wore a nylon blend. Taylor liked the feel of nylon when he stroked women's legs, but wearing it himself felt totally different. He was even aware of the difference when he was just sitting down. Taylor resisted the urge to rub his hands up and down his legs. He had more to think about. The people at work he had spent more time with than any other people anywhere, except Yvonne of course. "Taylor, we are about to leave. You had better go to the bathroom." "I don't have to go." "Do you remember what happened at the mall? Do you want that to happen again?" Taylor didn't know if this was a warning or a threat. Regardless, he entered the bathroom, sat down on the toilet, and tried to relieve himself. "Did you wipe when you finished?" "Yes, Aunt Yvonne." "Good and washed your hands too?" "Yes." As they approached the car, Yvonne reminded Taylor to "Smooth your dress under you when you get in. We don't want it to get all wrinkly." In the car, Taylor got to thinking. He instinctively put his thumb into his mouth. It calmed him and made it easier to think. His thumb had taken the place of his smoking habit. If truth be told, he had his thumb in his mouth longer than he usually had a cigarette in his mouth. Yvonne saw Taylor in the rearview mirror. He was wearing a floral dress with tights. She knew he was wearing Mary Janes too, but she couldn't see those. His thumb was in his mouth and he was actively sucking it. In his other arm, he was hugging his dolly. Yvonne smiled. Taylor knew a great deal about the people at work. They knew a lot about him. They shared the events that happened at the job. If he could convince anyone that he was really himself, these people would be it. But they weren't his friends. Even if he could convince one or more, none of them would risk everything to help him. Besides, Taylor didn't know how they could help him. "Would anyone at work risk everything to help him?" That was the question that was going through Taylor's mind. He knew he wasn't exaggerating either. A person helping him could literally lose everything. Their very identity could be whisked away. Would they do that for him? Could he even subject them to that type of danger? Taylor decided that since he didn't know any plan that had a chance of working, there wasn't any reason to try anything. Chapter 38. Yvonne parked the car and they walked to the building that Taylor had once worked at. This could be the last time he was ever here. It felt different to him now. He wasn't going in as an employee anymore. He was a little girl visiting the building. He probably wouldn't have to say a word. Entering the building they waited for the elevator. He recognized some of the people who were also waiting. He didn't know them by name, but he had seen them in the building. As he entered the elevator, near the floor, Taylor thought he saw a very small person that was covered in red from head to toe. But when he looked again, it was gone. He turned to face the door as others got in. He was holding Yvonne's hand and his dolly. Unbeknownst to Taylor, Yvonne nodded slightly towards Cardonali. Cardonali returned the nod, not that anyone else except Yvonne and for a moment Taylor saw him at all. The pair exited at the firm's floor. Taylor walked towards his old office. He was reminded again by the feeling that he was wearing tights. It seemed even more noticeable than the swish of the dress he was wearing. The receptionist in the outer office greeted them. Taylor knew her name was Mindy Murdoch. She took pride in her appearance and was very friendly, which made her the perfect receptionist. "Can I help you?" "Yes, I'm Mrs. Hernandez. I'm here to take home my husband's things." "One second," Mindy said. She phoned someone and told them who Yvonne was and what she wanted. Yvonne was escorted to Taylor's work area. Taylor didn't need to be told where to go, but no one knew that. Besides, the company wanted to keep an eye on anyone who would collect Taylor's things. Taylor tried to avoid looking at any of these former coworkers. He kept reminding himself, that all they see is a pretty little girl. He wondered for a second what they would think if they knew who he really was? They would kill themselves laughing seeing him wearing his dress and tights and carrying a dolly. He would probably be sucking his thumb if Yvonne wasn't holding his hand. Taylor pushed this thought out of his mind, he tried to replace it with "I'm just a little girl. I'm just a little girl." To avoid eye contact, Taylor kept looking down at the floor. He saw the bottom of his dress, his nylon-covered legs, and his Mary Jane shoes. Chapter 39. They were received at Taylor's former desk by his former boss. Taylor's desk was cleaned off. His former boss, Mr. Conner was carrying a cardboard box. "Mrs. Hernandez?" "Yes." "...and who is this?" "She is my niece Taylor." "What a cutie you are. And what a pretty dress," Mr. Conner remarked. "Say thank you to the nice man," Yvonne admonished Taylor. Taylor looked up shyly and said, "Thank you." Then he returned his gaze to the ground. Mr. Conner turned his attention back to Yvonne. "You didn't have to come. We could have sent the items to your place." "I wanted to come. I wanted to tell you that Taylor couldn't have done such a thing." "I'm sorry but the evidence is clear. If he was innocent then where is he?" "Taylor is many things, but he isn't a thief!" Yvonne said defending him. "There isn't any use in arguing about it. If he returns, he'll have an opportunity to clear his name." "Well good day sir. We have to be going. I promised Taylor here that we would get some ice cream." "I'm sorry we had to meet under these circumstances. But have a good day to you too." Chapter 39. Yvonne was holding the box of Taylor's belongings so she couldn't Taylor's hand. She instead let Taylor lead them out of the office. But when they came to the receptionist, Yvonne bid Taylor to "Wait." "Excuse me, do you have a bathroom," Yvonne asked Megan. "Yes, it's just down the hall." "Thank you." "Mrs. Hernandez, I really liked your husband. I'm sorry. I don't believe he did what they said he did." "Thank you again. I don't think so either." Yvonne directed Taylor to the restroom. "I think you should go, we have a long drive." "I don't have to." "Just try. I don't want you to have any accidents!" Taylor entered the stall, and pulled up his skirt, and then pulled down his panties and tights at the same time. He sat on the toilet for two minutes, but couldn't go. Then he pulled up his clothing and got out. "Did you remember to wipe?" "I didn't have to go." "OK, then." The pair left the office building and headed towards to car. "Hold on to me, while we are in the parking lot," Yvonne reminded. "OK." Taylor held Yvonne's hand which was still holding the box. They arrived at the car. Taylor got into the back. He held his dolly in his lap. It was starting to become routine. "Are we getting ice cream?" Taylor asked. He didn't care, he was just curious. "Sure, you were good. You deserve a treat!" Taylor remembered to smooth his dress when he returned to the car. He buckled his safety belt and held his dolly in his arms. He was finally growing used to wearing tights. They didn't feel strange on his legs anymore. He also didn't feel as nervous as he did when he arrived, so he didn't feel the need to suck his thumb. What occupied his time on this trip was what Megan said. He had always said hello to her when he saw her, but he didn't think about her much. She seemed to like him more than he had ever realized. He should have made a play for her when he had a chance. But that was water under the bridge. Chapter 40. Yvonne took Taylor to Friendly's. It was a restaurant that specializes in ice cream desserts. Taylor smoothed out his skirt as he sat down. He placed his dolly next to him on the seat. Similar to IHOP, Taylor was given a children's menu, a kiddie's placemat with activities on it, and a box of four crayons. Taylor did as he was expected and took the crayons out of the box and did the activities. Yvonne selected a children's grilled cheese with chocolate milk for him. The grilled cheese was called a Cheesywich on the menu and it came with apple slices. Taylor hadn't remembered the last time he ate grilled cheese. It tasted pretty good, but somehow it didn't feel adult enough for him. Taylor was acting the 'good little girl'. There was little else he could do while Yvonne was around. The problem was that Yvonne was always around. Taylor was given a choice of ice cream treats. He selected a strawberry and banana friend-z ice cream cup. When it was ready, several of the waitstaff gathered around and sang a birthday song. It wasn't Taylor's birthday, but he didn't complain. He assumed that Yvonne told him it was his birthday as they knew his name and made it part of the song. Taylor forced a smile on his face until the song was over. Taylor felt foolish, but not embarrassed as they sang, but there was little for him to do but sit there. As with everywhere else, they went, Yvonne asked Taylor before they left, "Do you have to use the restroom?" "No." "I think you should just in case." "OK," Taylor said in resignation. They walked together to the lady's room. Taylor entered one of the stalls. He pulled up his skirt, pulled down his tights and panties, and sat on the toilet. He waited to go. It took a few seconds before a little pee came out. When he was done, he wiped his privates, stood up, wiped pulled his panties and his tights into place, and exited the stall. "Did you wipe?" "Yes." Then he went over to the sink and washed his hands. Yvonne gave Taylor his dolly. He took it. They exited the restroom and the restaurant. Yvonne took his hand as they entered the parking lot. He opened the door to the back seat, got in and fastened his seat belt, put his dolly in his lap, and waited to be driven home. Everything was becoming commonplace. Even the feel of his tights on his legs had become commonplace. The life of a little girl was his life now. Chapter 41. A couple of days later, Yvonne informed Taylor that it was time for his first dance lesson. She then retrieved a pair of pink leotards and tights from the drawer. But before Taylor could put it on, Yvonne asked "Do you need to use the bathroom?" "No." "You had better try before getting dressed." Taylor had become frustrated. He knew he didn't need to use the bathroom. "I said I don't have to go." "Suit yourself." For dance class, Taylor put on his leotards and tights, but to get there he had to put on over it, a skirt and a t-shirt. Taylor put on sneakers for the ride over to the studio, Yvonne carried his ballet slippers with her. They didn't leave immediately, it took almost an hour before they finally headed out. On the car ride, Taylor realized that he had to pee. It wasn't too bad, but as they rode to dance class, Taylor's need became urgent. Taylor smooshed his legs together. "Aunt Yvonne, how much farther. I have to go." "I told you to before we left home." "I know, I'm sorry. But how much farther. "Not too long." When they got there, Taylor had to duck walk to get to the restroom. He was happy to find that there was an empty stall. The problem was since he was wearing a leotard, he had to get almost naked to relieve himself. He pulled off his t-shirt first. He didn't want to throw it on the floor, so he held the shirt in his hand as he continued to undress. Next, he tried to pull off his leotard. But taking off his leotard was harder than taking off his shirt. It was tighter and he couldn't lift it over his head like the t-shirt. That was obviously impossible. He had to slip his arms out of the sleeves and pull them down. This was made tougher as one of his hands was holding his t-shirt. He was also stymied by the skirt he was wearing. He had to pull his skirt completely off. To make matters worse, this skirt didn't have an elastic waist, it had a zipper in the back, which made it impossible to pull down over his hips without being unfastened. (Yvonne selected this style after Taylor insisted he didn't need to go.) He was finally able to pull down his leotards. After which came his tights. He had to pull both his leotards and tights past his knees to allow him to open his legs wide enough to pee in the toilet. Taylor didn't dare pee standing up. Yvonne was outside the stall. Every step was torture as he had to pee so badly. Taking off his clothes never seemed so hard or taken so long as when he was dying to pee. He didn't know what would happen if he wet himself. Yvonne might punish him in some way. Taylor knew that Yvonne could be creative in her punishments. After all, his entire predicament was supposedly a punishment for his cheating. He still hadn't admitted to Yvonne that he had cheated at all. The relief was immediate as the pee flowed out of him. While sitting there, Taylor resolved to always take Yvonne's advice on when to go. He suspected that she caused his urgency. Once done, Taylor could take his time redressing. He wiped his privates as usual. He stood up pulled his tights into place, next his leotards, his skirt, and t-shirt. He was only in the stall for three or four minutes, but it seemed like fifteen. "Did you wipe?" "Yes, Aunt Yvonne." "Good." Taylor then washed his hands in the sink. A minute later he was taking off his t-shirt and skirt again for dance class. Taylor slipped off his sneakers and put on his ballet slippers. He joined the class in the studio. Chapter 42. Walking out onto the dance floor, even though Taylor was fully dressed, he felt exposed. The outline of his penis could clearly be seen under his leotard and tights. There were little girls in the class. He wondered if any of them had ever seen a real penis. None had seen a man's penis (he hoped), but some might have seen their little brother's wee-wee. Taylor tried to put such thoughts out of his head. He knew that no one would think he was anything other than a pretty little girl. There were seven other students, six girls, and a boy. The boy was the only one who wore shorts over his leotards and tights. He didn't know what to do and didn't have anyone here that he knew so he walked up to the teacher and asked her where to stand. "Stand over there on that line," the teacher instructed him. "But first give your dolly to your Mommy for safekeeping." Taylor was still carrying his doll. It had become so ingrained in him that he didn't even realize he was doing so. He carried it the entire time he was getting undressed to pee without him realizing it. Taylor gave his doll to Yvonne and then took his place. "Everyone, I want you to stand with your heels together and your feet apart like this," the teacher instructed. "This is a warm-up move. First, everyone bend your knees." Taylor could do this. He knew he wasn't as flexible as the other girls, but bending his knees was pretty easy. Continuing the teacher said, "...then we are going to put our hands up, over our head, pointing our fingers up to the ceiling, and then we are going to put our hands together." "No gently. Don't clap," the teacher told one of the other students. "Then row to one side like we are rowing a boat. Now try again. Hands up, put together, row to the other side. Very nice." This continued for a while. It was finally starting to get difficult. At least for a man who hadn't ever moved like this and for the three-year-old who was also in the class. "We are going to start with a passe," which Taylor had been taught earlier means to lift one foot and point it at the knee. When he heard passe, he also knew it meant that his hands would be on his hips. This was a bit hard for him to keep his balance. He kept losing his balance and his foot kept falling in front of him. If it didn't he would have ended up on his face. "...knees out to the side, as we did before." Taylor couldn't do it without falling. His knee ended up in front of him. "...then we are going to put our knee down behind us in a kneeling position. The front leg is turned out, the knee is pointing to the side." "God, I wish I could quit!" Taylor thought. He was too busy trying to do the move and not fall on his face to see if the other girls were having as much trouble as he was. Then we are going to extend our hands like a bird with the fingers pointing. Taylor did his best, he signed. "So beautiful," the teacher encouraged the class. "Wonderful, let's come up and do it on the other side. "Let's passe on this side." The second time, while on the ground, Taylor had to put his hand on the floor to steady himself. Beautiful, I love it," the teacher encouraged. "And we are done," the teacher told them. Taylor was gratified that it was all over. "Let's come up. Let's give ourselves a round of applause. You were amazing." Taylor didn't think he was amazing. He wished he didn't have to come back, but he knew he must. He would also have to improve. That was probably what Yvonne was expecting. She was watching him right now he assumed. Chapter 43. The lesson continued. Taylor did what he was told, when the lesson was over, he exited the studio and looked for Yvonne, but before he could search long, a woman came up to him. "Hello, Taylor. I'm Mrs. Obioriah a friend of your aunt. She told me to take you home." Taylor saw his dolly in her hand so he knew this must be true. Mrs. Obioriah held on to her daughter Ella's hand with one of her own and Taylor's hand as they crossed the parking lot. Taylor held onto his dolly with his other hand. Ella and Taylor were shown the back seat. There was a safety seat for both of them. They straped themselves in and headed out. Ella had her own dolly, but it had been left in the car. "What's your doll's name?" Ella asked. Taylor hadn't thought of a name for his doll. He had to make one up quickly. He chose Doris because it sounded like 'doll'. "Her name is Doris." 'That's a pretty name, My dolly is Lorraine." "That is pretty too," Taylor said to be sociable. "She's my favorite, but I have lots of dolls at home. I think I have over a hundred." "That's a lot." "How many dolls do you have?" "I don't know. I haven't counted them all." "Hey, I have something to show you." "What?" "Look at my nails. I just have them painted. Isn't it cool, light blue with red hearts? I just have them done. Don't you just love them?" "They are very pretty." "Have you had your nails done before?" "No never." "You should." "I'll think about it." "I'll have my Mommy call your Mommy." "She is my aunt," Taylor corrected. "OK, your aunt." "You know it isn't just my fingers, my toes are painted too." The pair continued to talk. Taylor let Ella do most of the talking and tried to sound interested. Yvonne said he needed to get a friend his own age. He assumed this was Yvonne's way of arranging it. Chapter 44. They dropped Taylor off at home. Mrs. Obioriah walked Taylor to the door and waited for Yvonne to take Taylor inside. "How did ballet go?" Yvonne asked. "Awful. I couldn't do the moves well." "It was your first day. You'll improve." "I don't want to improve." "I spent good money on ballet because you insisted. Now you want to quit?" "I didn't insist, you made me go." "Are you calling me a liar? Good girls don't call their best aunties liars." "I never wanted to learn ballet." "Yes, you did. Want me to remind you that you have always loved ballet and you begged me to sign you up." Taylor knew what Yvonne was doing. She could make him love ballet. She could do anything. She was daring him to make him love ballet. Taylor backed down, "I'm sorry. I'll do better. Idon't want to quit." "And did you beg me to sign you up?" "Yes, Aunt Yvonne. I was just frustrated because it didnt go well." "Don't worry Sweetie. With some practice you'll become the best in the class. I promise." Taylor didn't know if that was a promise or a threat. Taylor went straight to his room. He wanted a cigarette which now meant he wanted to suck his thumb and relax. Which he did. An hour later, Yvonne entered his room. She had some nail polish. "Ella said you wanted your nails painted." "I didn't." "I don't think you should hurt her feelings. I'll paint them for you." Taylor heard what Yvonne said as more of a command than a request. He let Yvonne paint his nails a light pink color. "Ella used a blue nail polish." "I don't have that, but we'll go out and buy some later. We'll get you many different colors." "Now let that dry for a while." "Fine." Taylor looked at his nails. They were painted light pink. Was this the worst thing that happened to him in the last few days? No, but it certainly wasn't getting better. How could he suck his thumb if it was painted pink? A short while later, Yvonne reentered Taylor's room. "It's dry, you don't have to check," Taylor informed her. "I know, but we aren't finished." "Now what?" "Give me your hands." Then Yvonne used a stencil in the shape of a heart and some red nail polish to put hearts onto his nails over the pink base coat. On a little girl, it would look adorable, on him, it was just anything to add to his degradation. Chapter 45. "Wake up sleepy head!" Yvonne stated cheerfully. "It's still early." "I know but do you know what day today is?'' "I don't know. We are in September sometime." "You are right. It's your first day of school." "School?" "Yes, every little girl has to go to school." "Yvonne, come on." "Do you want me to get into trouble? You have to go." Taylor wished she would be in trouble, but didn't say anything. Instead, he asked, "What am I going to do in school?" "Learn silly." "What can I learn in the...what grade am I in?" "Third grade." "What will I learn in third grade." "Whatever they teach you." "I know it all?" "Would you prefer I erase everything you learned since the second grade?" "No!" Taylor said emphatically. "Then stop complaining." Yvonne had prepared Taylor's outfit for school. He would be wearing a pretty cinnamon-colored jumper with a matching short-sleeved blouse, white tights, and a pair of black Mary Janes. "Take your shower and get dressed in these," she commanded. Taylor knew the morning routine and followed it. He had become proficient at putting on tights and the rest of his feminine attire. Yvonne liked to keep him in tights, even on hot days. He came down to breakfast properly dressed, which also included a necklace and hair clip. A bowl of frosted flakes cereal was waiting for him to add milk was waiting for him. Along with orange juice and a banana. Yvonne appeared with a backpack filled with what Taylor assumed were school supplies. He didn't know when Yvonne had time to purchase these things without him noticing. He spent most of his time with Yvonne...when he wasn't over at Ella's house playing with her. She did indeed have over a hundred dolls and stuffed animals. Ella introduced Taylor to all of them. They waited at the bus pickup point with several other students for the school bus to arrive. Yvonne waited with him. Chapter 46. Taylor looked glum, but he should get used to it. He wanted to suck his thumb, but he didn't know how the 'other kids' would handle it. He kept his thumb out of his mouth. This was also one of the few times that he didn't have his doll Doris will him. He had grown used to carrying her with him everywhere. "Now listen, when you get to the school, someone will be waiting for you by the bus. They will show you around and take you to your class. They know you are new at the school." "How will I know them?" Taylor realized how stupid the question was after he asked it. "They'll call your name. My, you are nervous about your first day of school aren't you." The bus came and Taylor got on with the other children. "Have a great day!" Yvonne called out as Taylor got onto the bus. He took an empty seat and looked out the window. The bus made many stops picking up children but eventually, it arrived at the elementary school. As he left the bus, Yvonne was right, an attendant was there to show him around. Taylor had assumed it would be an adult, but it was a student in the fifth grade who was sent to escort him to his classroom. Entering the classroom, Taylor got the shock of his life. He knew the teacher. He had been having an affair with this person when all this began. Taylor hadn't thought about her since then. Even in her professional teacher's apparel, Taylor thought she was very sexy. The U-neck of her blouse showed her ample cleavage and her long legs in heels couldn't be denied. None of the children thought anything about how she was dressed, but the teachers appreciated her appearance: the male teachers anyway. Seeing her, all those old feelings flushed back into Taylor's body. His dick became erect inside his panties. Not that anyone would have noticed, but the thickness of his opaque tights and the tightness of his skirt made his problem less noticeable. "You must be Taylor," Miss Wegener proclaimed. "I've heard a lot about you." Miss Wegener knew that Taylor was new to the school and that he probably didn't have any friends here yet. She wanted him to feel welcomed and she hoped that he would fit in with the other students. "Taylor Honey, please sit over here," Taylor was the first student-directed to a seat. Taylor smoothed the skirt behind him as he sat down. He had done it so many times that he did it instinctively. The feel of his skirt against his nylon-covered legs had been commonplace to him. Yvonne seemed to enjoy keeping him in tights as often as possible. She even liked to have him wear tights under his leggings on most occasions. Taylor had to rise a bit to relieve the pressure in his panties caused by his stiff member. It wasn't perfect but it was as good as he could do. Taylor hadn't pleasured himself since this all began. The stress of his situation combined with being forced to wear feminine clothing cooled his libido. But now as memories of what he used to do with Kendra (Miss Wegener), he couldn't help himself. Taylor couldn't get access to his dick. He was wearing a dress so he couldn't just put his hand down his pants and adjust it. Not to mention that there was an extra layer of material in the way, his tights and he was wearing tighter underwear than a man would normally wear. Taylor squirmed in his seat. After all the students had been properly seated, workbooks were handed out and everyone made an inventory of their supplies make sure they all had brought what was needed for the school year. Taylor checked his bag with all the other students and found the needed supplies, from pencils, to crayons, to scissors, and all the rest. Taylor was still squirming. He couldn't help himself. Miss Wegener noticed Taylor's discomfort but obviously couldn't suspect what was happening. She saw Taylor as just another little girl in her class. "Taylor, do you need to use the lady's room?" she asked. "Umm, I guess so." "OK, here take this pass. Helen, can you go with her, please?" Apparently, in the third grade, or at least this third grade, children weren't sent alone to the bathroom. The pair left the room. Taylor was walking funny because of his condition. Inside the stall, Taylor pulled up his dress and lowered his panties and tights, freeing his erect member. He got some tissue and relieved his problem. It didn't take long, he hadn't done so in a while, spraying into the tissue as he sat on the bowl. Taylor made sure he didn't have to go in a conventional way, flushed the toilet, wiped his privates as he had been taught, returned his clothing to their proper state, and exited the stall. Finally, he washed his hands the two returned to class. Taylor was much relieved. Chapter 47. Now that his problem was relieved he could think. Kendra might be his salvation. Yvonne didn't know about her. If he could convince her who he really was she could help him. She was the only adult from his former life that he could talk to privately without Yvonne knowing. Yvonne wasn't at the school, she was home. Taylor would have to find an opportunity to speak to Kendra alone. But first, he would have to think about what to say to her. He would have to come up with things that only the two of them shared to convince her that what he was saying was true. Taylor knew that as far as Kendra could tell he was a little girl like all the rest. He would have to be convincing. He would have to talk about the times they were together and the things that they did. He didn't want to mention the sexual things, not initially anyway, that would be too much of a shock when it came from a person she thought was her student. Taylor returned to his seat and opened his knapsack to get the pencils what whatnot that he needed. He found his dolly was in the bag with all his supplies. It seemed he took Doris with him even to school. As the work was easy, it was the first day of a third-grade class, Taylor had plenty of time to think about what to say. He also needed privacy with Kendra when he told her these things. He couldn't raise his hand and tell her while the class was watching. That didn't make any sense. Maybe he could tell her when they were supposed to be at recess or was having a snack? Did third-graders stop and have a snack in the middle of class? Taylor didn't know. Maybe if he asked to talk to Kendra privately as if he was confiding that he was being abused at home. He sort of was being abused so it wasn't really a lie. Taylor wanted to talk to Kendra very badly, he couldn't on the first day or school. He had to find the right time when he could talk to her privately. He also had to think of the right words to convince her. The day passed without Taylor distinguishing himself from any of the other students. Until the time was right, he wanted to just fit in. Chapter 48. He would bide his time, but for the first time since this all began, Taylor had a little hope. He smiled on the bus ride home. Yvonne was at the bus stop waiting for him. "How was your day?" Yvonne asked as they walked to their house. "OK, I guess." "Did you make any new friends?" "No...not yet," Taylor said. He thought that was what Yvonne wanted to hear. "Great. Do you like your teacher?" The question startled Taylor for a moment. Did Yvonne know about his and Kendra's relationship? Taylor justified to himself to believe she didn't know. If she knew that all hope was lost. This would just be another cruel joke on him. But he couldn't let himself think that. "She's nice," Taylor said. "OK." "What did you learn today?" "I was the first day, we were just going over-rules and stuff. There wasn't much to learn." "So you learned the rules." "I suppose. What's with all the questions?" "Just asking about your day." "Do you want me to say I was excited to be there? That is was the best day in my life?" "What's gotten into you. I was just asking about your day." Inside their home, Taylor returned to his room. No one who saw it would think that his room wasn't decorated for a little girl. There wasn't any hint that an older girl lived in this room, let alone an adult man. Taylor slipped out of his Mary Janes. He laid on top of his Paw Patrol comforter. Looking down he could see his tights-covered toes. They had been painted like his fingernails. Yvonne kept his fingers and toes polished at all times. He didn't even feel the earrings he wore anymore. He wore them 24 hours a day. He put his thumb inside his mouth and started to suck. Now fully relaxed, he calmly started to plan what to do. Laying on his bed sucking his thumb was the one activity that Taylor completely enjoyed. His other activities: watching cartoons, dance practice, playing with other little girls, coloring with crayons, etc. he was required to do, but obviously didn't enjoy. Taylor had to figure out a way to convince Kendra of who he really was. He knew that he looked like a little girl to her. That would be hard to overcome. Talking about their sex life would be way too awkward. He had to talk about the things that they shared. He made a list. Where he and Kendra met would be the first thing. How he saw her on the street. How he followed her to her office and made sure to be in the same elevator. She was wearing a scarf with roses on it. He told her he liked roses. The scene went on and on. Then he would tell about their first dates. He couldn't write any of this down, Yvonne might see the list and ask about it. So he went over and over so he wouldn't forget anything. His thumb never left his mouth as he worked it all out in his head. "Taylor, Ella's here. She wants to play," Yvonne shouted out. "Coming Aunt Yvonne," he answered. His planning would have to wait. Chapter 49. The day had arrived for Taylor to tell Kendra who he was and plan his escape from his nightmare. Taylor couldn't help but smile as he got ready in the morning. Yvonne had laid out his outfit for the day. It was a skirt and top combination with tights. Yvonne always made sure that Taylor wore either a skirt or a dress to school with tights. He would always wear shoes, usually Mary Janes, but sometimes sandals. Taylor was acting the good little girl. He went to the bathroom first to brush his teeth and then take a shower. He followed that up by brushing his hair and doing his business. He never forgot to wipe or to wash his hands ever after. He knew what was expected of him. He got dressed in whatever outfit that Yvonne chose. He never asked to wear anything different on school days. Then at breakfast, Taylor would always inquire if Taylor had finished his homework. She knew he did, but she asked anyway. Yvonne gave him his lunch box and escorted him to wait for the bus. She would always wish him 'a great day.' Then off to school with the rest of the children. Taylor was used to the routine by now. He didn't feel strange in his apparel anymore. He entered the class, took a seat, and got to work. He had to wait until it was time for recess to talk to Kendra. Taylor raised his hand. "Miss Wegener can I talk to you privately?" he asked. "It's about what is going on at my house." Taylor knew that those words would be taken very seriously by any professional teacher. "Sure, Honey." When Taylor and Kendra were alone, Taylor started to tell his story. He knew that Kendra wouldn't believe him. What person would? A little girl explaining to a woman, that she was actually that woman's boyfriend. Taylor first had to convince Kendra of who he was and then how he got this way. Taylor couldn't possibly know how he happened, he only knew who did it. "Kendra..." "Miss Wegener." "OK, Miss Wegener, you know me better than you think." "What do you mean?" "I'm not really a little girl. You just see me like one. I'm Taylor Hernandez, your boyfriend." "Don't be silly. It's time for lunch." "No, it's true. I'm really a man." "Stop pretending." "We met three years ago in Pico." "Come on stop this." "It was a rainy night. I was in a cab and you got in. You were wearing a white satin top with a round neck. You were on the phone as you got into the cab. You looked tired. When you got off the phone, you asked me if you could ask the driver to turn off the music. I said 'Well yeah, sure'. The driver turned off the music when you asked him, then he sat back. I said, 'long night, huh.' You said 'yeah.' I said, 'and on a Friday night. I couldn't get worse.' We sat for a while and then my phone played a turn to indicate an incoming message. You asked, ' Radiohead fan?' I said, 'yeah, you too?' 'You know you are not the only one in Pico who likes Radiohead.' Taylor was so specific with what had happened, that Kendra had to take notice. How could anyone know? There were only three people there. Taylor, Kendra, and the taxi driver. Kendra looked more closely at Taylor. He looked like a little girl to her. Just like the rest of the students. How could this be her boyfriend Taylor? Was he still her boyfriend? She hadn't heard a word from him in so long. She wasn't sure if they were still dating. "Do I have to tell you more?" Kendra thought that maybe Taylor had told this girl what to say. But why would he do that? "Can I ask you something?" "Sure." "Do you remember that day I was walking down the past that yard sale and I happened to bump into you?" "Yes." "Do you remember the day after Valentine's day?" "How could I forget." "Where did we go?" Taylor answered all of Kendra's questions. But Kendra couldn't believe it. Taylor was just a little girl in her eyes. "You can't be, Taylor. I mean the one I knew. It's impossible." "Yvonne did this." "She made you into a little girl?" "No, not really. I'm the same." "The same?" "Yeah, I know how you see me. I see myself like that too. You look at me and think I'm a child. But I'm not I'm as much of a man as I ever was. You can't don't see me that way." "How is that possible?" "I don't know. But you know I'm much taller and bigger than the other students." "I know that. Your just big for your age." "I'm twice their size. I'm bigger than you.." This was true, but Kendra still knew that he looked like a little girl. "...It's some sort of magic." "I don't believe in that." "Neither did I, but it's true. It's not just you, it's everyone. They all see me as you see me. I even see it when I look in the mirror." They went on talking. But eventually, recess was over. They had to return to their roles. They would talk later. Taylor had convinced her, although it took Kendra time alone to get over the shock and outlandish nature of what had happened. This had to be Taylor, she/he couldn't know what she/he did if she/he wasn't who she/he said she/he was. It was hard to wrap her mind around that the 'pretty little girl' in her class was really a grown man and her boyfriend Taylor was overjoyed. He finally had an ally. Someone he could talk to out of the watchful eye of Yvonne. He couldn't go to one of his old friends, Yvonne knew everywhere he went. He couldn't tell a stranger like his dance teacher or the police. By happenstance, he found the perfect person and circumstance to talk about his predicament. He looked forward to going to school. Although he reasoned he couldn't show his excitement. Yvonne would notice and maybe discover them. Chapter 50. The days passed, Kendra and Taylor found reasons to be together. But they had to be careful. If the school administration found out that she was spending so much alone time with Taylor, the obvious questions would be asked and she would be in her way in more trouble than Taylor. Since Taylor was naturally the 'brightest' student in her class, Kendra could make him her special monitor. He would hand out all the papers and do all the little things to make Kendra's class work well. This was also the excuse for Taylor skipping recess and other activities to be with her. They made sure that it all seemed very innocent. They never kissed of course, but they also never held hands, never got too close, and never showed any hint of affection. It was natural for Kendra to encourage her students with hugs and pats, but she never did any of those things with Taylor. After much discussion, Kendra and Taylor knew that they couldn't make Yvonne return Taylor to normal. Technically, it was turning the world back to normal, but that is beside the point. There were only two options, leave things as there are and hope it would work out. Or leave together to a place where Yvonne couldn't find them. They would have to get new aliases and move to an obscure location. "If we go, we'll always be on the run," Kendra worried. "I know, but at least we can be together. It can't go on like this. I'm sure Yvonne isn't through with me and if she finds out about you, who knows what will happen." "They'll call it kidnapping." "I know." "If we are caught, I'll be arrested and you will be sent back to live with Yvonne." "I know." "We have no defense. No one will believe us." "I know." "Is that all you can say?" "It's the only option. I can't go on like this." "But you will still be a little girl as far as everyone is concerned." "But, I'll be with you and you know I"m not." "Is that enough?" "When we are far away from here, we can do as we please. No one will know what is happening in our home. I can be a real man for you. I love you!" Taylor convinced Kendra, they planned their escape. Kendra had to do most o the planning. Taylor had the life of a little girl. He was still in dance glass and had arranged play dates with other girls, and his chores at home. Yvonne was even teaching Taylor how to cook. Taylor never complained at anything that Yvonne asked of him. There wasn't anything too embarrassing for him to do. He also found ways to relieve himself sexually. Many a night, he would find himself in his bed, his thumb in his mouth and his other hand rubbing his dick thinking about Kendra. Chapter 51. The agreed upon day finally arrived. It was a day when Taylor had dance class after school. Ever since school started, Yvonne gave Taylor a cell phone for her to contact him or he to contact her in case of emergencies. Taylor used this whole to contact his escort. (The young lady who was in charge of accompanying him from school to dance and then back home.) He left a message saying that dance was off today because Taylor had a dentist appointment. He did the same with the dance school. Taylor hoped that they wouldn't confirm the change with Yvonne. After school, Taylor waited at the front entrance for his escort to arrive as he always had. Then ten minutes later he walked out of the school grounds and down the street to Kendra's waiting car. They couldn't be seen together on that day. Taylor got into her car and they drove off. No one noticed them. They figured they had two hours before Yvonne would notice he wasn't where he was supposed to be. They got onto the freeway and drove out of the city. The figured if they got at least 400 miles away, they should be safe. Taylor had been taking clothes to school in dribs and drabs so he would have plenty to wear once they escaped. On the freeway, with the city far behind, Taylor felt free for the first time. After two hours, Kendra pulled off at a rest stop. She parked away from everyone. Kendra then disguised herself by wearing a wig. She didn't think anyone would be looking for her. Taylor, with Kendra's help, cut off the bangs he hated. Since he had relatively short hair, Taylor also wore a wig with longer hair. He knew he would standout if he tried to look like a man or even a boy. He leaned into his little-girl persona, by having Kendra braid his hair into pigtails.. She even paint on freckles on his face. They got back on the road and drove some more. But at approximately 7:00 they got hungry. They didn't want to risk pulling into a restaurant and letting anyone see Taylor. Instead, Kendra got out to purchase a few items. Taylor hid in the back seat for Kendra to return. Now that he was four hours late, Taylor assumed the police were looking for him. Every time anyone approached the car, Taylor started to breath hard. He was afraid someone would see him and call the police. Everyone thought he was eight, they might think it off for a 'small child' like that to be left alone in a car. It only took fifteen minutes for Kendra to return, but it seemed like hours to Taylor. He was such a wreck by the time she returned he couldn't eat what she brought him. "Are you OK?" Kendra asked. "The stress is getting to me." "Don't worry the hard part is done,' Kendra told him. But she didn't believe what she said. They slept in the car the first night. Kendra had rented a room in a different state under an assumed name. They had to get there. They hoped they would be safe. Epilogue. They changed their names and posed as a single mother and daughter who were fleeing from an abusive relationship. There was more truth in that than they admitted to themselves. They needed to blend into the society. oddly enough that meant that Taylor had to attend school. He went back to the third grade. He couldn't risk being the odd little girl, so he made friends with the other girls, play their games and called the boys stinky and other names. Kendra had to find a different type of job than teaching. She became a driver for a salvage yard. Whereas Taylor had to lean into his female persona, Kendra had to do the opposite. She had to seem as far away from her true self as possible. The wig came off and she shaved her hair very short. She stopped using makeup and gained a gruff exterior. Totally opposite from her sexy true self. Taylor tried to be intimate with Kendra when they were established, but Kendra just couldn't do it. She knew intellectually that Taylor was a man, but he looked to her in all respects as a girl. Kendra could never be intimate with any child, she was a caring teacher at heart, but especially a girl. They lived in fear that they would be discovered. If discovered they both knew that Kendra would go to jail for kidnapping and Taylor would be returned to Yvonne. Which was the worse fate they didn't know. But what they didn't know was that Yvonne never told the authorities that 'Taylor had been kidnapped'. Everyone simply thought that Taylor returned home to her parents. It really wasn't any big deal. No one knew why Miss Weneger left so abruptly. But there wasn't any law against that. Yvonne even arranged for the charges against Taylor to be dropped. It seems there wasn't any missing money and thus no embezzlement. Kendra and Taylor lived a life of constant fear. They never moved out of their small town and they were always waiting for that knock on the door when they would be discovered. End. |
